It's not as thick as some but not liquid. Big plus is that it doesn't smell. I have a bottle in the pocket in my car for me to use every time I het in the car.

It doesn't have a thickening agent, it has a “different” smell.. it does get the job done. I really miss the “club brand” hand sanitizer, but for the price and the fact it does the job, I can't argue terribly. I have found it handy to keep in my vehicle, it sits right next to my parking brake so I can grab it and use all I want. Since there is no thickening agent, I have tried to use it outside of my vehicle so it doesn't get on my clothes, but the few times it has, it has not caused any noticeable damage.
