Half life!

I bought these tires in July 2018, and now in August 2020, I have to change all four tires because there is little thread left in them. We drove these tires for approximately 34,000 miles, which is only half the life they advertise. Not what I am used to seeing in Michelin tires. I am very dissatisfied with the quality of this product.

Premier LXT 104H " LIKE DRIVING ON A CLOUD"

My wife and I recently purchased a set of MICHELIN Premier LXT for our 2010 Mitsubishi Endeaver. We do some urban driving in Central Florida, and can expect frequent heavy rains. We also take trips envolving a lot of highway miles. We are most impressed with the soft feel, the smooth quiet ride, and great control on wet pavement.

60000 mile warranty means nothing!

These tires came as standard equipment on 2018 Audi Q5 Premium Plus. I'm a conservative driver and they need to be replaced at 24K. Warranty for treadware is worthless. All it means that I won't be replacing these with another Michelin product or buying another vehicle that come with Michelin tires.

Very Disappointed

These tires came on my 2018 Chevy Equinox, which is a lease. At 28,000 miles they all needed to be replaced. There is no way I should have to replace tires this early on a vehicle. I have never, ever, had tires that needed to be replaced this early. 60,000 miles??? I didn't even make it to 30,000, let alone through my lease which makes me the most upset that I have to put money into a car for tires that I don't own.

Replacement at 32k miles??

I have a 2018 Grand Cherokee purchased brand new and directly from the dealership. Car has 32,000 miles and I'm already needing new tires - Michelin Premier LTX 265/60R18. I don't usually write reviews but I've found this thread to be very helpful and thought I should share my experience. It makes no sense needing new tires at 32,000 miles when the normal mileage warranty is 60k. No, I'm not an aggressive driver, half of my commute is highway, and no, no mountainous driving. I'm already in touch with customer care, hope this issue is solved soon and all 4 tires are replaced at no cost

2022 Highlander XLE

Michelin Premier LTX came preinstalled on 2022 Toyota Highlander XLE. After 15000 miles, the tires are already less than half the tread life and was recommended by Toyota to have them replaced. Barely getting half the total tread life is not something I would want from a tire manufacturer.

2022Highlander, we're sorry that you are disappointed in the mileage received thus far. If the tires are half way worn, there is considerable tread remaining. A representative will be in touch to discuss this further with you.

Poor tire tread life

Bought these tires for my 2015 Honda Pilot when the car had 38k miles on it. After 30k miles and 3 years, they have to be replaced because of excessive tread wear. No extraordinary driving, no trailer pulling, light loads. This is unacceptable. Michelin needs to step up and make sure your customers know this or drop the price in half. Consumer Reports does NOT recommend this tire. Only the Defender.

Confidence Builder

The first thing I noticed was that this tire was quieter than my MXV4s that I had replaced. When I went on the highway my SUV tracked better and it felt very stable. So much so that I found myself over steering. Especially in construction zones where the lanes narrowed and you had to hold your lane through rough pavement the tires excelled. I have become very confident in the secure feeling these tires give. I have gotten over 60K miles with my previous MXV4s and hope these tires will give me the same.

Terrible tread life!

These tires were installed on a 2001 Mercedes ML430 which is driven mostly freeway commute and city driving in a large California metropolitan city... Only went to the mountains twice for a ski trip. Unfortunately, I only got 30K miles out of the tires and that includes rotations and one alignment. Unfortunately not a lot of alternatives from my local tire dealers, so I had no choice but to repurchase same tires. These tires are expensive, and did not last. Michelin seems to no longer be "premier" and doesn't stand out against the competitors.

Works well....Terrible treadlife

I like the way the tire handles, rides and quietness HOWEVER, the tread-life isn't even close to what is advertised. Michelin charges for a premium tire but it wears like a low end tire. Plan on getting about 30,000 miles out of this tire. I had these 285/45R22 tires on a 2016 Yukon and got about 30,000 miles out of them till I was on the wear bars. This was a mix of country road and highway driving.
