I would probably like this better if it didn't have macaroni in it. That macaroni ruins it in my opinion, making it too sticky/gluey (not pleasant). Also, the flavor as others have stated are muted, but there's almost too much of the bland seasoning. It's not horrible, but I don't ever feel like eating it. It's been in the pantry too long because I see it then say "nah". You can always add tomatoes and that helps these mixes, but I find just making rice and seasoning it with some Mexican spices plus onions, peppers, and diced tomatoes far better. Sure it takes a little more effort, but chopping up a few items is worth it. The whole point of buying this is convenience, but it's not worth it in my opinion. I'm a fan of some Knorr Swiss products such as their Bearnaise sauce mix, just not this.
