Recently replaced the OET on the 2010 CRV with the Defenders. Internal road noise has been reduced and the car is less bumpy going over the road irregularities in our town. Hopefully we'll get more miles out of these tires, given primarily local stop and go driving. I'm impressed with these tires so far!

My wife is the main driver of this car. Even she noticed the difference in how the car handles. We had just had a major snow fall. My wife commented that the car held to the road better. It maneuvered better and turned corners quicker! She said she feels like she has a "new car"! Even my Wife could tell a difference in how the car handled with the Defenders!

Have had these on my minivan for 3.5 yrs. on my second set and after 18000 miles again they are worn smooth. Have have the tire pressure checked, and have them rotated every 5000 miles but they don't get any where close to the wear rating advertised.

I have always purchased Michelin tires!!! Even though the tires are great, you should always get a road hazard warranty. If the company does not offer one, go elsewhere. Everything is super about Michelin tires, you will be pleased. The ride is smooth & the road grip is nice. Try them today!!!

I purchased a set of Michelin Defenders at the start of last winter as the factory ones on my wife's Rav4 had finally worn out. I must say, I am very pleased with the tire's performance. They've given great traction during 3-4" deep snow, icy roads, wet roads, and torrential rain storms. Best of all, they've increased her fuel efficiency by about 3mpg! I would absolutely buy another set.

My auto care guy told me I wanted the Michelin Defender tire when time came to replace my original tires last November. As much as I like Dave, I couldn't get past the idea of being "sold" anything. The skeptical bone began to ache and I simply told him to give me some options. After reviewing 7 tires in all price ranges - much to his chagrin - I said I'd try them but I wanted the option of return-ing the tires if they were any less than he said they'd be. He even gave me the number of a guy who bought them a week earlier than I and told me this guy was more picky than I am. Sounded like a challenge to me! We were in the process of driving from Ohio to Wisconsin weekly to visit w/my brother-in-law in the final stages of terminal cancer. The weather through Indiana and Chicago was the best test of the Defenders. Racing through the city at 75-80mph, stop & go on the highways, rain, wind, near flooding conditions on the roads and then the ever appearing toll booths. The car had never handled better and the ride never as smooth as on that trip. Mileage greatly improved too! Long story short, I still have them and love driving through all weather conditions while others sit on the side of the road or choose to drive 20mph in the left lane with their hazard flashers blinking. Best tire I have come across in over 50 years of driving in all conditions over half of the globe.

I am not being paid and I have never, ever filled out a review for anything before. I am an average customer just like you trying to learn more about a product. Just wanted to say this is my 3rd set of Michelin tires and I would never ever think about changing brands. Quality, dependability, looks, ride and most of all my families' safety. One of the selling points to this tire is they are "all weather" tires. These tires are good for areas that get NO snow or ice. The traction is poor even on wet roads. Dry road tires only. Do not buy these tires if you plan on driving in any weather.

After dealing with the poor wear (30,000K max) and very poor light snow performance/cost of PAX tires, I was very careful to find appropriate replacements for the PAX system. Had to buy new Honda (steel) wheels and covers. Ordered new TPMS sensors, but found the existing ones on the PAX system fit perfectly (got full refund on ordered sensors). These Defenders are the way to go - they came out at the right time! Have ~5K on the tires - waitibng to see how they perform in winter driving. So far so good!

I use the product by having all 4 tires installed on my Probe. What can I say about a tire. It's round. (Except when it runs over a nail - then it is flat on the bottom.) It gets me from point A to point B, never complains, never needs a coffee break, and never asks for a raise. But seriously, when it's time to buy a new set of tires, I always choose tires manufactured by Michelin. After driving almost 500,000 miles, I can say with certainty that Michelin makes the best tires.
