I bought four Defenders to replace the original tires that had racked up 52,000 miles on my Altima hybrid. I hadn't felt safe on the old tires since hydroplaning for 200 feet or more in the fast lane of the freeway. Now that I have great tires, it probably will never rain again. So far, the tires seem very grippy, and cornering control is noticeably improved. They are a tiny bit noisier than the old ones, and the ride is a little rougher. I like the better control, though, and I'm counting on enjoying these tires for years to come.

I have had many sets of michelins on all our vehicles as the only tire we use is Michelin. I just traded the radial x to the defender and really like the traction, stability and when I step on the brakes you can feel assured you will stop in time! I very seldom write a review, and if I do usually it is because the product did not meet my expectations. Well in this case I am so excited about my new Michelin Defender tires I want everyone who is even considering a new tire to try this tire. I put them on a 2012 Honda Civic LX Sedan. I don't even think about tires.. they are tires right. Well these actually made the car feel entirely different than the stock factory tires. It turns better, there is way less road noise and slapping. There seems to be less drag and I am experiencing better fuel economy. I have not had them very long but in that short time being in Michigan I have experienced ice, snow and wet conditions and these tires cut right through it. I absolutely could not be happier with my decision. I considered many different brands and price ranges and to be honest these were on the top end of my budget but they are well worth the additional cost and I will never put anything else on any of my vehicles. It is rare that a manufacturer actually delivers on its advertising but in this case Michelin is actually under promising and way over delivering. Thank you and great job !1

I purchased 4 new Defenders for my SUV after being extremely dissatisfied with the original tires on my car. They had only 27000 miles and were below standard for inspection. So I had a discussion with my dealer and decided to shop around for the Michelin Defender tire for my SUV. I am very satisfied with the wear of them and would purchase them again when necessary. thanks.

I purchased 4 new Michelin Defender tires got them mounted, balanced and had an alignment done on my 2010 Impala. Since then I have taken two road trips and have noticeably better gas mileage and a much more comfortable ride. I am extremely pleased with these tires and am excited to see how long they hold up for!

The highest quality of tire on the road today. My fuel efficiency has increased significantly. I've noticed great improvement in our vehicle's handling and stopping abilities, which gives me added peace of mind for my family's safety. And the fact that these tires offer a 90K mile tread life is icing on the cake. If asked why I chose Michelin Tires above the rest, simply put, "Michelin goes on before the family gets in"

I got the tires for our Colorado winter season. These tires are nice but for the money I spent I expected them to grip in snow better. I have slid a couple of times so far and it's very early in the season. I would recommend this tire for dry climates.

I had purchased the Michelin Defender in October of 2013 and only got just under 15,000 miles and had a blowout. I took it back to the retailer that I purchased it from to get it replaced because of the 90,000 mile warranty and they informed me there was no warranty and I had to purchase another new tire. Needless to say I feel that I have just been scammed and personally I don't know Michelin would do business with someone that doesn't uphold their own company warranties. I deserve my money back for the second tire so what are you going to do?

Since I purchased these tires I have put them to the test. I have cruised at 70 mph, during a freezing rain storm ( which I don't recommend ), and not once did the tires loose grip. They are the smoothest tires I have ever ridden on. These tires are so amazing, I actually get 15-20 more miles per tank of fuel. Who would have ever guessed tires can make so much of a difference. If you have a passenger car, and you don't have defenders, then you are just throwing money out the window.

Purchased these tires for my elderly parents. Their Buick had Michelin tires on it as original equipment, and they ran over 60K miles without an issue. It only made the most sense to replace them with a Michelin product. We looked the Defenders and chose them for their outstanding mileage warranty, fuel savings and safety record. Mom and Dad have been very pleased with them. This purchase made me look like a star when it came to this superior tire choice. I have Michelins on my car, too. I wouldn't drive on anything but the best.
