Had these tires for 3 weeks, great in snow and rain, great hold on the road, I live in Ohio and our winters can get treacherous, So far this winter we had normal snow and heavy rain, these tires hold the road

Got this tire in Nov 2016, and we have had heavy rains then freezing temps and now snow and lots of it, these tires are the Defender LTX MS boy the best tire I have ever had on a vehicle . no problems at all .

Although these tires are noisier than the original, I can't believe how much better the car seems to handle and the improved stability. With the original tires, our Sonata handled poorly on the highway and was terrible in the snow. The Defender tires track well on the highway & go through the snow without an issue.

Recently I posted a review stating my tires were extremely loud. Well, I have to take that back. I discovered that I had a faulty wheel bearing installed last year and it was now grinding so much it was like I was driving a jet and not a car. Really became noticeable when I put on the new tires after removing the snows. So today I picked up my car with the bearing replaced and the ride is quiet, quiet, quiet. So for the other person with the noisy tires, just might be a good idea to make sure it is not a wheel bearing.... .

I used to have bfgoodrich on my Buick but was in need of new tires and I chose to look at Michelin Defenders fort Buick, they were expensive but they were well worth the money I spent on them, I knew the minute I started driving that I made the best choice in buying these tires.

I have 53,000 miles on these tires and my dealership is telling me although they have worn evenly across the face of all 4 tires, it is now time to replace them. The tread meter is showing yellow. I expected better mileage for what I paid for them. These were not cheap tires. $148.00 each when I purchased them. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. I have had them rotated at every oil change. My Chevrolet dealership say there is nothing wrong with the alignment or shocks (struts) and they have been checked for balance at each oil change as well. So, the mileage issue is really with the tires and not the automobile. I paid more money with the expectation they would last the mileage that was advertised. Do I have any options I wonder. Will Walmart give me a break on replacement tires because these didn't last as advertised ?

I have always been reluctant to purchase Michelins due to the premium price that they command. Recently I purchased a set of Defenders and noticeable difference in the ride of my vehicle....much smoother and a highly stable feel regardless of the driving conditions. Overall, I'm very pleased with the Michelin Defender and will be purchasing them again in the future, which may not be for quite sometime given the longevity warranty.

I only buy Michelin tires for my cars. Just bought the Michelin Defender for my Hyundai Accent tires size 17570R13. I had these same tire on the car and got 78,000 on them. I thoughts have always depended on my tires and will only have Michelin tires. To me they are the best tire made. They just last and keep me safe. My life depends on Michelin tires.

Have bought Michelins for 30 years and very disappointed. My daughter only got 53000 miles on a tire supposed to last 90000. Tire rides and handles great but wear was ridiculous. Have same tire on my Impala, 38000 miles and look about half worn. May try Michelins again but never the Defenders.

Bought my car new in 2012 and it came with Michelin Defenders. Never had this brand tires before but after they were worn to close to nothing, I had to tell my wife it's time for new tires. She said no way ...they still drive like new. And she was right. They did. Even after 72,000 miles. Never felt these tires hydroplane and no issues with uneven wear. Excellent tires !!!
