The Defender is the best set of tires I have ever owned. I do a lot of travel as a training representative and this tire gives me confidence when I am behind the wheel. Highways, mountains, curves, rain and snow are no match for the traction provided by the Defender. I would recommend this tire for anyone who wants a longlastig tire that will handle all road conditions.

Purchased the Michelin Defender for my 2009 Chrysler Sebring Convertible. WOW what a difference these tires made !! I have had Michelin's on other vehicles and there is no comparison to them and other brands of tires. Michelin's will outlast three sets of any other tire. I also noticed that it increased my braking ability. Better road handling, better ride, no road noise , it was worth the extra $$ because Michelin far exceeds other tires.

I purchased a set of four tires for my wife's 08 Honda Civic knowing the Michelin reputation of being the best. We haven't been disappointed. Very comfortable ride and wonderful all weather handling. She commutes 60 miles a day to work and I'm comfortable that we chose the perfect tire.

I have Michelins on both my vehicles. I drove on tires well passed their useful life and waited 2 months until the Defender arrived in my tire size (the model just came out). I use them on the 1998 Civic my daughters drive so I wouldn't put anything on that vehicle I didn't fully trust. The prior Michelins on the Civic lasted a long time and I never had a flat or problem with them. The Defenders have proven to be reliable so far - I have had them less than a year.

This is my second set of Michelin tires on my 2006 Honda Oddysey with continued great results. With grandparents 4 states away, we drive over rivers and through the woods and a lot of weather twice a year to see them. I also am taxi mom for 3 kids, so I put about 20,000 miles a year on my tires. I want to be safe, enjoy my time in the car (since I'm in it a lot), and feel confident that my tires will get me where I need to go, go, go. Michelin gets me there.

I bought these tires to replace other Michelin tires that done well by me and my Honda CR-V but had now worn out & been discontinued. I love these tires. I live down a dirt road and use my CR-V for all types of road driving and weather conditions. These tires seem to hold the road more securely and smoothly than others I've had and the most surprising feature was that they cut down on road noise inside my vehicle. That was a noticable difference even to my friends who also have a CR-V. They were driving on the same type tires that I had before and now because of my experience with these Defenders, they aren't even going to shop around when it is time to replace their tires. They already know they want these too. This is a great product and they keep me going everywhere I want to go and make the ride enjoyable.

The first thing I noticed after the Defenders were installed was the ride. The original tires seemed hard compared to these. They were also worn to the tread wear indicators at 25000 miles. Handling is much better and more predictable. Have not noticed any hydroplaning in the rain at highway speeds. According to the mileage computer on the vehicle the gas mileage has gone up approximately 3 tenths per gallon on a drive of about 300 miles round trip where we knew what the mileage was with the original tires. Have put about 5000 on the tires and can't say anything bad about them. Had the alignment checked at time of install and plan on rotating at 6000. Great set of tires.

I purchased the Defenders and the next day went on a trip out of town....I thought my gas gage was broken after going 500 miles and only using a little over a half tank of gas....I normanlly get 30-31 miles to a gallon but with the Defenders on my car it increased to about 34-35 MPG

Compared to my OEM tires, these give a ride that is a bit plusher, smoother, and quieter. They also do not feel as firm and grippy around corners, but I have an SUV, not a sportscar, and most of my driving is on the highway - so I like the luxurious ride quality. I can't comment on durability, as I just bought the tires, but the guy at the shop - which sells many brands - raved about the Defenders.

Excellent tire. I read several reviews prior to buying and the reviews were a mixed bag of too soft and too hard plus noisy. I honestly don't know what they are talking about. These are no noisy, harsh or too soft. I think people are not using the correct tire pressure. These tires grip well, they are quiet and smooth.
