We recently got the Defender tires and compared to our last set, they were amazing. These tires run smooth, quiet, and give the driver a feeling of great control on the road. Our previous ones, a different brand, were ridiculously noisy and didn't do as well as we thought it should during our snowy/icy winter season.

I drive on a daily basis to my job, which is 28 miles roundtrip. Most of my commute is on the highway at high rates of speed. Of all the activities I do everyday, driving takes up a significant portion of time. Because of this, I chose to invest in a tire that is of the highest quality. My tire gives me the durability and protection I need to get where I am going everyday.

Safety and economy are my biggest priorities in buying replacement tires. It's my responsibility to keep our Honda Odyssey in excellent condition since my wife needs to have good reliable transportation. Although the Defender tires cost a bit more initially they more than make up for it by improving my gas mileage and providing my wife and I with peace of mind when we are on the road.

Just put four new Michelin Defenders on my minivan. Wow what a difference in the ride. It is a much smoother ride. The warranty is outstanding also. I mean 90,000 miles of wear is unheard of. But Michelin states that and stands behind their Defender Tires. So I off to miles and miles of smooth rides!!

I have been buying Michelin tires for 45 years, and I've never had a bad one. I have them on all of my vehicles (motorhome, 2 cars, pickup) and my airplane. When my dealer told me that my last set for my mini-SUV were guaranteed for 80,000 miles but would likely last 85,000 miles, my thought was, "yeah, sure, who are you kidding?" He was wrong--they only lasted 82,000 miles and still had plenty of safe tread. So when he put the new Defenders on my SUV 10,000 miles ago, we joked that they'd probably last 100,000 miles, although they have only a 90,000 mile guarantee. Since the car already has 124,000 miles on it, I will probably trade it before I'll know how long they will last, but whoever buys my car later, whether it's next year or 3 years from now, will still have a good set of tires on it. So far, they are perfect, quiet, comfortable, with excellent traction. I would expect nothing less from Michelin.

These tires have not increased my mileage in fact the mileage has gone down some. The car seem to wander on the road that my old worn tired did not do. There is nothing wrong with my car as these things just started with the new Defender tires. Not sure what is the issue. Will this stop after the tires wear a little?

The tires ride so smoothly on my thirteen year old vehicle and handles extremely well ! I could feel the difference immediately when I left the tire retailer's store parking lot. It's such a pleasure to drive with tires that I feel so safe with on the highway. What a great experience !

I purchased a set of these tires a little over a year ago and found them unsatisfactory. The compound is too hard for my vehicle, resulting in a hard ride, reduced handling, and increased road noise. We all know that in most cases tires are designed for a vehicle. This tire is an unacceptable replacement for the tire that came on the vehicle. I have no doubt that the tire will last a long time. But at what price. I purchased the tires during bad weather, and due to the weather conditions, driving was limited. Because of the weather, the thirty day return policy expired and I was unable to take advantage of it. If you do not mind overlooking the issues that I mentioned, buy the tire. If you care about how your vehicle is designed to ride and handle, look at alternatives. I know that I will look at other options in the future. I do not believe that the tire is worth the cost.

These are without a doubt a pretty good set of tires. Handling is fantastic and the feel of them gripping the road if you have to make a quick maneuver even in wet conditions is very real. My only problem and I'm not even sure it is the tires fault is a front end shake when approaching 80 mph. I have had it checked out again and again with no fault found in the auto itself. Rebalancing never seems to totally get rid of it. I would recommend with this caveat.

Lat night I Had a blow out and was up all night thinking about what tires i was going to buy today.after looking at michelan and another big tire name,I went went the michelan! Amazing tires.i bought 4 of them today.what a huge difference.they are soooooo quite,and I drive a sedan!we are just nearing the end of monsoon season,but I will be writing the company back to let them know how they handle in the monsoons! I am very pleased with these tires.and my dad said he could tell the the difference in performance and sound almost immediately! So thank you so very much michelan.i will be shopping your brand of tires again.because i need to feel safe all the time in my car.my entire drive to work is ALL freeway!i never want to get stranded.i really feel very safe with these tires.thanks again
