Go for the Burn

The Forerunner is helping me to measure and mange the burn for optimum impact at age 80. I swim laps, walk, do strength workouts and yoga. I get great metrics to work with and adjust my programs. It also pairs with my Polar heart monitor.

Perfect accuracy

I tested forerunner 55 while half marathon 3 weeks ago. It was a great experience and watch gave me a perfect basic information what I need. Great battery life is also another feature which convinced me.

Best running watch at this price point

I bought it about a month ago, high quality watch great feeling buttons. Pretty much every feature you could ask for. GPS is waaaaay more accurate then my phones.

LOVE!

I got this for my birthday, and I love it so much! This watch is so good for going on runs, and it is good just for telling time. Excellent quality, as well as very long life battery could go a week without charging. FIVE STARS!!!

Wonderful Smartwatch. My First One.

I bought my Garmin Forerunner 55 smartwatch several weeks ago and have enjoyed it ever since. I use it for my extensive walking. It's fun to chart my walks and see my results. I still have much to learn about it but find it most useful.

Ok.

It’s alright. I was told in the store I could download music to this one, you can not. It’s not very good at tracking sleep but it does good tracking runs. You just have to carry your phone if you wanna listen to music or a podcast.

Good watch - issue with SWIM Workout

I bought this watch considering I like to do RUN, BIKE and SWIM, but then I realised that this watch don`t allow to send a Swim Workout to the device! so I'm surprised because old FR245 allows to do that but this new FR55 don't!

Better than expected

I'm telling everyone how much I like this watch, I bought it for fall detection but I'm enjoying the other features - it's definitely not just to tell time.

Hard to see at night!

I've had this watch over a month and very disappointed with the low illumination while in bed. Plus, I'm not a fan of buttons for ending a run/walk. I wish I had chosen a different watch.

I don't like it

This was my first Garmin watch and I do not like how it operates. It is not intuitive and got stalled for over 2 hrs in discharging mode when I tried to delete data. Sending this watch back.
