I purchased this, used it for a month, an than purchased the Fenix 7s. This is a great product, but it seems that it somewhat arbitrarily limits itself to push users to purchases more expensive watches. The number one thing I wanted was to be able to create custom workouts, than listen to music on my phone and have the app (through the watch) tell me what to do. But, this watch for some reason cannot do that. Also, I wish i could distinguish between road biking and mountain biking. Again, this seems silly to me that the option isn't there, because it I'd think that is just a software question, the watch is clear capable. And lastly, when I used it for swimming, it was highly inaccurate. With all that said, I loved it's size. I loved its heart tracking, sleep tracking, simple running features, etc.

I’ve had to delete my Forerunner 55 from my phone’s Connect app and resync once or twice a week. It loses sync with my iphone routinely. I’ve repeatedly followed all troubleshooting steps and the problem persists. Apple watch looking better and better.

I wanted to upgrade my Garmin 45s to a better running performance watch. I purchased the Garmin 55 and lets just say it was way to big for my tiny slim wrists. Not only was the watch band to big but the watch itself was to big. I couldn't make the band any tighter to keep the screen in place but it was to tight. I ended up returning the watch. I am still looking for a watch to upgrade my Garmin 45s. I want to take my running to the next level.

I have an Apple Watch that I love, but I hate that it needs to be charged every day. I bought a Garmin to be my second smartwatch to use on trips. I love that it’s compatible with my iPhone and the battery lasts more than 2 weeks. This watch is useful, attractive, lightweight, and waterproof. It was perfect for my road-trip to Utah and Colorado.

Love it, got it about 3 weeks ago, when my other tracker went dead. I’m an avid runner, been running for years, l thought I’ve reached my threshold plateau until I got this Forerunner with free running coach programs, so I’m starting to pace myself better. Looks like I can do better with my new running coach with Garmin! If you are a new runner and you want a Tracker, go with Garmin. It will give you a baseline running capability tracking and your VO2 max, it will also establish an Emergency personal contact in case you need help, but always listen to your body when you’re out running, it’s always better to be safe.

So far I have really enjoyed the Garmin - Forerunner 55. It gives great information on sleep, recovery, workouts - exactly what I need. I love that it gives immediate feedback as you are running about your pace, heartrate, VO2. The phone app has a lot of in depth analysis as well. Great affordable fitness smart watch.

Been using it for about a month and a half now, daily use and mainly cycling for excercise. It has a long battery life and accurate GPS, and you can customize pretty much every screen on the watch to show the stats and data that you want. Highly recommend this watch for anyone looking to get a basic but highly functional fitness tracker/smartwatch.

I purchased a Forerunner 55. I am also extremely technically challenged. But I thought there had to be some "Logic" in operating this watch. But Logic totally alluded me. You don't just press one button, Top Right button and start going, Oh no that would be too east. Then you press the bottom bottom left, scroll, hit left middle and or top......It's just insane. Then on more than one occasion I re-charge the battery an it say 100% then the following morning when I wake up the battery is down to about 20%. I did not activities. ****BUT*** I must comment to support Dept. They are for the most part wonderful and patient people. But again I repeat I am not a tech person and this logic to use the watch correctly totally alludes me. Plus I feel guilty .keep calling the support dept as STILL not getting credit for my activities that I have done I am sure it's a GREAT WATCH ONLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

I enjoyed the lightweight and comfort on the Forerunner. The display and buttons make it easy to navigate. The accuracy seems spot on and love how it links with my apps. Battery life great and never have to worry about a low charge. If you are serious about your fitness you can't go wrong with the Forerunner and the data it can provide you.
