It has strong cleaning power, but also seemed gentle with a pleasant odor that was not overpowering. I would recommend this product if you need to refresh your washing machine.

I've tried other cleaning agents, but I like that this one has no harsh chemicals and you can use it to directly wipe the gaskets and other surfaces to clean them. The washer smells much better after using.

The water became murky, which I believe was a result of loosened residue. My washer has no smell, which is a good thing. I would recommend this product as a pre-cautionary or as maintenance to prevent a mildew smell or to have an overall clean washer.
