[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decided to try Downy fabric softener after years of using dryer sheets. My clothes did not have any static cling and felt the same as the clothes in which I've used dryer sheets. The only drawback is the smell. The April Fresh scent is strong while the clothes were being washed. Fortunately, the smell was nowhere near as prevalent after they were dried.

I have used Downy before, but normally when I find it on sale, but I always prefer liquid fabric softener over softener sheets. Using the Downy again just reminded me of how great it is over other fabric softeners. I just love the scents available and the original scent also has a fresh clean scent that just leaves my clothing smelling great for days. The way I use my fabric softener is with a downy ball in my washer machine during the washing cycle. I have found that using the ball takes the guess work out of remembering to add later in the cycle. I found also that the scent of the Downy last longer on my clothing than other fabric softeners. Downy is not expensive, but I can buy other softeners cheaper, and even coupons for the Downy are normally $.50 and really do not help. That's my only real con to the Downy is the price. I tested the Downy softener for free, but all opinions are my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to really love Downy fabric softener, but my family is very sensitive to added chemicals to laundry. I'm noticing that this formula tends to leave a residue on clothing. I'm not sure if it's more than it has been in the past, but I found it very noticeable, like an almost greasy feeling. The scent is nice though. I'm wishing that the was a more natural alternative to fabric softener that didn't feel like I was just layering chemicals onto my clothes—and into the wash water.

This is seriously the best fabric softener out there , I've tried many and none seem to do what this can. Leaves my kids clothes very soft and smells great ! Others just don't have that lasting power that downy has . I received this to test from influenster for free .

I also loved the fresh floral fruity smell that is still there from a few days ago!!! Great on my kids track and soccer uniforms, no more sweaty smells. Love the feeling of how soft my clothes are after using Ultra Downy!!!

I found my clothes smell better, feel softer and also come out with less wrinkles. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to have the freshest laundry and the best feel.

I use it in my top loading washing machine and it protects my clothing and never stains it or leaves any residue. The smell is very nice and lasts noticeably long on my sheets and blankets. The downy bottle is a great value for the price!

Leaves the most lovely scent on your clothing which lasts for days and really makes your clothing super soft. The April Fresh scent is so comforting.
