[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Mom used Downy April Fresh ever since I can remember! We had the freshest smelling clothes in the whole school maybe the whole neighborhood! I often wonder, after getting married, if Mom followed the directions or if she used as much as she wanted so that they kept the smell and then one nice summer day I found out for myself that she did! Maybe she did use a bit more but only when she had to get the fresh scent we were all so used to! She had a dryer but she still chose to hang them out in the fresh air, weather permitting, naturally, which may have helped them retain such a beautiful scent. With her washing for the 6 of us and her twin Brother, whose wife left him, with 4 little girls, she would have gone broke if she over did it, affordable or not. Mom is no longer with us but the smell of her laundry softened with Downy still lingers, after all these years,in all of our memories. When she'd buy my four Daughters clothes she'd wash them first and the girls just loved how they smelled. I think,it meant more to them, then then the outfit itself. I, too, use Downy, like my Mom, but the smell doesn't seem to linger for me the way it did when she used it, but the memories sure do.(I don't hang them outside though either) The smell of Downy, to All of us, is one we associate with Love, or as we call it Mom's Special Love! We have many beautiful memories of Mom, but not many memories of anyone else we know or have heard others speak of also carry a scent that's carried along with the memories, especially ones of your Laundry with you for 15 years now and associate it with a Special Love no one else could eve fill!. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of Downy April Fresh fabric softner along with my Tide Pods purchase. I used it exactly as directed and when I went to remove my clothes from my washer, the softner had not dissolved in the water and was stuck to some of my clothes. The way in which it was stuck cannot be described as anything else other than snot-looking. I did an extra rinse and spin thinking that would help...NOPE! I had to rewash the clothes TWO MORE TIMES! I've always loved the P&G product line and have never had an issue with their products. However, I will NOT be buying Downy fabric softner. Thankfully I didn't pay for this sample or I would be even more irate!

I'm a huge Downy fan, so I was stoked to find it in my Vox Box. I love the convenience of the pour-able spout and the scent is amazing. It leaves my clothes feeling soft and the fragrance lasts for a while. I'll definitely purchase this again and again. Even though I received this for free, the opinion expressed is solely and completely my own.

My mother used it when I was younger and now I have continued to use it as an adult. I believe in the saying, "if it is not broke, then why fix it? " Plus, I just love the smell and the way it makes my laundry feel.

Have always used Downy white bottle, no scent, because the scented ones are too strong, however this time I bought April Fresh to dilute with no scent so it would be just right, when I had a huge problem....sort of shocking and unbelievable, actually, but here goes....a little was on the bottom of the bottle and stained my drier. How is that possible? I am stunned. I do not want to take off the shine and ruin my new drier but this is really disgusting, how is this possible????!!!! What can I do???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only fabric softner that is used in my house is Downey I love all of the scents, but I buy April Fresh the most. It keeps my clothes smelling good and soft. With four kids and a husband it is needed as much as laundry soap in my home!

Downy has always been a staple in my family, but for the past few years I have had to eliminate it due to a sensitivity to fragrance. Other members of my family live by it and will not use anything else. Downy makes clothes soft, fluffy and the smell is a bonus. I received this product free for product testing purposes and these opinions are 100% my own. I gave the product to my sister and she loves the way her clothes stay smelling fresh for weeks on end.

He came home the first day and ask me what I had done different to the wash? I admitted the errors of my ways and ran out to get Downy. The next day he came home and let me know everyone at work had also noticed . That day he received comments about how fresh his clothes smelled. I have all my married children using your products,too! I am also teaching my younger children. I will never switch again. Thanks for an awesome product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using downy fabric softener since I was 9 years old. 34 years of awesomeness. I tried a different fabric softener once during the 34 years and immediately went back to downy. Only downy makes my clothes fresh and soft.

Ultra Downy Liquid fabric softener is the only fabric softener I use. I've tried to save a few pennies by buying cheaper competitor products but they're never the same quality. Ultra Downy April Fresh has a light clean scent that leaves even my heavy cottons soft. I also use it on my delicates and it leaves them in soft perfect condition. My only complaint is that it's more expensive than most fabric softners but I always try to buy when I have a coupon or its on sale. I received Downy Ultra Fabric Softner as a free gift for my review but I assure you that my opinions are entirely mine and I try my best to be as honest as I can be.
