Nothing special

I bought this a few weeks ago. The flavor of the item is bland unless you use a dipping sauce.

Edible but won't buy again.

The puff pastry is actually really nice but the meat.. not so much. Obviously I'm not expecting grade A meat from a sausage but these were pretty tough. I was expecting them to be little smokies taste since I have always pigs in a blanket with them but it's just hot dog which is fine on its own but they are tough. Tried baking them a few different ways and they were not great any time I made them.

Read Ingredients Before Putlrchasing!!

My mistake for purchaseing. I should have read the ingredients.Definitely not your typical pig in a blanket. Didnt care for the flavor or the parmesagn cheese on the crust. A pig in a blanket is simple.A hot dog rolled up in dough or even pretzel and the either eaten plain or dipped in some good mustard.Definitely would not reccomend to a friend.

Hard Pass Next Time

We love Sam's and most of the products we purchase are a good quality and value priced. My kids love when I wrap lil Smokies in crescent rolls, so I thought this was a homerun app for our family New Year's Party. Well, thank the Lord it was just family, because I would have been mortified if I had served these to anyone else. If I could give them zero stars, I would! To say they weren't great would be an understatement. Have your kids had any of the popular Squishy toys? That is what the texture of the lil Smokies in these felt like. I considered just letting the kids play with them for a bit, but that seems a little weird, so instead we just threw them away. As far as flavor, the dough tasted very bitter. You know that taste that you get when you throw up in your mouth a little? Well, yeah, it's sort of like that. If you are thinking about buying these-just DON'T! It's definitely worth the few extra minutes of buying the Lil Smokies and the crescent roll dough and rolling them up on your own. Sam's Club would be wise to remove these from their shelves. So nasty!

Pass on these

My kids asked, "Mom. How did you screw up pigs in a blanket?" I just thought they were being picky, but these were really bad. Like... really bad. I threw away the 2nd bag.

Tasty Appearance but They're Not

The franks in a blanket looked tasty after baking but they did not taste good. Most of my guests took one bite and left the rest on their plates.
