Love my tires

On my Chevy Silverado HD Diesel pick up they are great for mileage over the other tires I have used. Traction is great in wet weather and snow also. I will be replacing them with new ones the same when they wear out. I will get about 50,000 miles as opposed to 35-40,000 on previous brands.

I have this tire on both ...

I have this tire on both of my trucks (10 tires between them and I'm not counting spares!) I get excellent wear, as a matter of fact, the last set that I used up got over 100,000 miles on them. The set before that I replaced prematurely at 90,000 miles. Both sets still had street legal tread depth. The tires offer a good, smooth ride that is quiet. I have never had any slipping during wet cornering. All these reasons contribute to the fact that ALL three of my vehicles have Michelins!

Great tires

I've used these tires on my wife's SUV and my old truck. They're the best tires I've ever bought for heavier vehicles. The tires on my wife's SUV are almost 2 years old and still look like new. I would have traded the truck tires from my old truck to my newer one if they would have fit.

Best tires for a Honda

The first set came on my new vehical and they lasted over 90,000 miles and I am on my second set and at 145,000 these tires just last for ever! I will not have any other tires on my vehicals other than Michelins. The LTX M/S are one of the best snow tires I have ever owned ! I have never been stuck in snow or mud since I have had these tires on my vehicals!

I bought my Chevy Tahoe ...

I bought my Chevy Tahoe new in 2005. The dealer had 20" wheels & tires on this vehicle, when I bought it. I put 2 sets of tires on it, & the last set I refused to go with anything but Michelins. What's the saying? "If Momma ain't happy, nobody's happy" Well this Momma is very happy & content!!!!!

After 15 years of ...

After 15 years of "Michelin only", thinking I should be more frugal, I ran through two sets of a competitor's brand, never coming close to Michelin's performance or longevity! Before leaving for our summer vacation '10, I put a full set on our all-wheel drive SUV, and the difference was AMAZING ... driving was a pleasure, like a million little fingers were gripping the road as we drove cross-country through Virginia's scenic highways ... the ride was far more comforatble, and fuel economy actually increased! My earlier Michelin sets had always had good tread up to the milage forecast ... not so with "brands X" ... I'm so glad to be back in safe hands ... clearly, my Michelin tires are still the best investment I can make for my family's transportation.

Awesome tires

I have own so many tires and yet nothing like Michelin tires. My tires is right now @72000miles on it and tread looks like a new. Rotating every 5000miles most important to keep your tired last long but still the tires is #1 on my list now. I would never buy any other tires. Most other tires I own never lasted that mileage said. I wold have replaced once already and even I thought Michelin was expensive, it pays itself as I'm saving the money after all. I convinced my girlfriend to get one too and she has not complain. That has to say something. I did right and Michelin done right. I don't think you will sorry for spending extra money upfront...

I bought a brand new 99 ...

I bought a brand new 99 Silverado LT.I got only 21000 miles out of those tires99(not Michelin)lol b/4 they started wearing a lil thin,so I went ahead and bought 4 new Michelins on it in 2 yrs later(01).I still to this day have those same tires on my truck,almost10 yrs later, and still have tread left, and still ride smooth!...,,,Seriously ;) You might pay more for Michelin, but hands down you get your moneys worth! It is NOT only the name Michelin that makes people but your tires,it is performance and satisfaction, hands down the best and safest tire money can buy!Thx.....;)

Molding Process Not Up To Par

In the past Michelin tires have had clean side molding process. The Defender tires that I recently purchased does not have clean molding lines. One tire tire is perfect while the other three have extra rubber “flaps* around the tire side wall. Time will tell how they hold up. Maybe I'm picky but the extra molding rubber makes them look cheap.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, DJD. We would recommend getting a tire inspection at an authorized dealer. Please have the dealer contact us at 866-866-6605 to report their findings.

Dependable LT/crossover tire

I have put about 30,000 miles on Defender LTX M/S in all weather and they handle very well on my Honda Pilot. Stop wining about noise! These are noisier than passenger rated tires as these tires are light truck/crossover tires and are able to handle higher weights and loads. I run them about 4 lbs higher pressure than the SUV door sticker for higher vehicle load per the Michelin spec.
