I always like to us ...

I always like to us Michelins. Currently being unemployed I may have to settle for less. My last Michelins lasted on my 3/4 ton truck towing a large 5th wheel trailer for over 52000 miles and still had enough tread left to get a trade in on new ones. I've put them on every truck I could. They are the very best. I wish I could put them on my current Expedition!!!

Significant improvement

These replaced OE Goodyear RS-A's. One of the Goodyear's suffered a belt separation and complete failure while towing. The Defender's have a more comfortable ride and better traction, particularly in the rain. This Michelin was a significant upgrade.

Not as good as they used to be

This is my third set of LTX/MS tires. the first two were great, over 60,000 miles, but this set has sidewall cracks after 25,000 miles. I don't hit curbs, so I don't know why they are forming. I want to buy a new set, but need more than 25,000 miles for the price I paid.

Love these tires!!

I have had such great luck with all of the Michelin tires I have ever bought. These tires hold up very well to all types of road conditions. I feel confident in driving any of our vehicles when I put Michelin tires on them in all types of weather conditions. The light truck tires I most recently bought have done very well on less than great road conditions. I am a customer of Michelin tires for life!!!!

I had hoped to keep my ...

I had hoped to keep my truck until I wore the tires out. My engine went first. I advised my son to try them. He did. Now he can't wear them out, and he needs to trade his SUV. They don't have the size for my new truck, so I intend to go to the LTX-MS2. They aren'yt cheap, but I don't want any other. I put Michelin on all my vehicles and haven't had a problem for years. I am alwaysn looking for a deal, so....

I have two vehicles and ...

I have two vehicles and after retiring price became center to many everyday purchases and tires became a pricing issue; over and above performance. After I purchased a set of tires through an on-line discount for my BMW I felt all my future purchases would come from a tire discounter with focus totally on price. However, before I had to purchase tires for my Landcruiser I was faced with a potential deadly situation, a blowout on the freeway. As I drove on the freeway in the center lane of a three lane freeway at 60 miles an hour I ran over something on the road that caused a loud noise under the vehicle. After traveling about of mile I started to feel the frontend of the vehicle vibrated and at the same time two 18 wheel trucks pulled next to me on the right and left sides. The vehicle continued to vibrate and the tire began to fail. As the trucks continued passed the tire blew completely out. Due to the structure of the tires I had on my vehicle I was able to maintain complete control of my vehicle and those tires were Michelin LTX M/S P275/70SR16. I can give a firsthand report - Michelin tires are lifesavers.

Best

I have a 1998 GMC Suburban. After I wore out the factory tires at @ 25,000 miles that came on this vehicle when I bought it new. I then decided to get Michelins, from past experience. I have over 180,000 miles on my truck. I am on my second set of Michelins and still going strong. I get a consistent 70,000 to 75,000+ on these tires. You do get what you pay for absolutely. Michelin,...see ya soon for my next set.

I now have over 75,000 miles on this set, I rotate them every 5000 miles. I feel they will go 100,000. You pay more up front but these tires will give you your investment back. My wifes Tahoe also now has Michelins & it rides like a dream. I am on my third set. OK I' m sold !! RA

still rolling

back on 5-10-13, I said I had 193000 miles, and hoped to make it to 200000, well I did, now at 201000 miles on tires, looking for replacements in a while, but definitely they have to be Michelin's, oh btw, tires are on a 2002 Chevy trail blazer w/ 276000, and still strong

I have loaded over twice ...

I have loaded over twice the recommended capasity in my 2500 ram on numerious occassions. When I changed out the first factory set of Michelin's, they had over 85,000 miles with out a problem. My second set suffered the same treatment and were changed out when the odometer hit 180,000, without a dought these are best set of tires I've ever owned,
