I still find that the mega rolls last longer. I have a workspace where the bathroom is used by visitors and the mega rolls make a difference. I am trying the mega soft after trying out the stronger Charmin and will decide after this tryout which I prefer.

Charmin used to be better.

If the MEGA roll is supposed to be 3x the size of a regular roll, your regular roll must be VERY small. The cardboard center has gotten larger over time too, cheating the customers of the toilet paper they are buying. I found some old rolls at the cabin so I could compare. It wasn't my imagination. Smoke and mirrors consumers! Smoke and mirrors! Be wary! Charmin has gone to the dark side with the rest of them!

Please DO squeeze the Charmin

I love Charmin Ultra Soft. The Mega rolls still fit on my holder and they last a lot longer than regular rolls. The only thing you should know is a plumber warned me not to use Charmin products. He said they are known to cause clogged drain pipes. I had a clog 4 years ago and haven't had one since. Even if they did cause a clog, the softness is worth it. I highly recommend them and the price at Walmart.

Bought this my mistake. I had stopped using Charmin due to the asthma triggering chemicals that assaulted me as soon as I open the shipping box it was packed in. Even when I would open the package itself and leave it outside to oxidize, it was awful. Much to my surprise this had no rose smelling perfume to trigger my asthma.
