50 Quart "Yeti" Cooler
They've put much thought into the design of this cooler and it's very functional. This cooler keeps ice for several days and is by far better than most cooler's out there. Its heavy duty, rubber wheels make it easy to move around.

Works as advertised - plus wheels!
Very happy with purchase - works as well as other brands for what I needed. Big plus is the preinstalled wheels and drag handle. I like the upright stance of it. Sturdy, well built and great price!

Worked great on boat in Lake Havasu
Purchased this prior to a trip to Lake Havasu a few weeks ago. We have gone through a bunch of cheap cooler and they don't fare well in these extreme conditions. We were able to load the cooler with prechilled beer and drinks along with fruits, snacks like string cheese, and our sandwiches. It worked great throughout the trip and we would bring a 20lb bag each morning to refill and empty out some of the water in the bottom. I prelubed the drain gaskets with oil before we used it and not a single drip at all. The basket is useful to put small items you want to keep cool but not wet. Having the wheels is a lifesaver and allowed us to stack a heavy bag on top and wheel down to the docs. I feel like it was a gear purchase at a great discounted price of $99.

Awesome cooler for out boat
We have been pleased with this cooler and how rugged and sturdy it is. The wheels easily handle the gravel parking lot at our marina even with cooler loaded and it seems to keep ice on the boat for a long weekend on the water. The depth for tall items is great and basket handy.

Great cooler!
Still ice in the cooler after 5 days! Helps to chill down the interior in advance of putting food in. Froze whatever food I could in advance. Having wheels and a long handle are a real plus!
Outstanding Cooler
I can't speak for others' experiences with this cooler but I've found it to be a great product. I own a Yeti, RTIC and Orca cooler. All perform equally well, even this one. If you purchase one of these coolers you need to understand what it will and won't do. If you want a cooler that will hold your food, freshly packed game & fish at stable near freezing temps for a few days it will do just that. But if you simply want a cooler to hold beer & drinks with frequent openings don't complain that ice only lasted 4 hours (especially if you put the drinks in there warm). I've camped with this cooler in excess of 5 days in 90-100 degree heat. I filled it with a layer of beer cans on the bottom, frozen meats on top a layer of frozen bottled water on top and a 20lb layer of ice. Here is what happened. The beer cans froze and burst(won't do that again). The meats had to be thawed daily (which kinda sucked) and the waters stayed mostly frozen solid the entire trip. By the end of 5 days camping I still had A LOT OF ICE! People complaining of no retention after a few hours or a day are exaggerating & have no experience using a roto molded cooler. They are not party coolers where a frequent in & out of the cooler is to be expected. Can they be used that way? Sure. But don't expect 5-7 days of ice. If your complaining about the difficulty to open the rubber latches, stick to $20 coolers. It's designed to close tightly for ice retention & bears (with a lock of course). For the $ this cooler can't be beat. A comparable cooler by size & make would easily cost $60-180 more.
$99 Gem!
Well I thought I would add my thoughts about this cooler. Often, when I read reviews that have a significant number of bad comments I tend to shy away from that particular item. In my case, I bought this without reading any reviews and glad I did. I am a pipeliner and the projects I am working on provide ice so everyone can fill their coolers every day. Some use standard coolers and some use the rotomolded coolers. I decided I wanted to purchase a rotomolded cooler so I would not have to deal with as much melt-off every day, wanted something more rugged, and I thought it would be nice to have for camping, so I began looking around. I spotted this in Sam's Club, and of course they have a great return policy, so I reasoned I didn't have anything to lose. One of the things that attracted me to it is the ability to use a paddle lock to secure it. I often stay at hotels, and although my salads and boiled eggs may not be that valuable, I love knowing I don't have to worry about anyone getting into my cooler. I would prefer it had a dedicated apparatus to run a cable through to lock it to my pickup bed, but I can settle for the ability to loop through the handle assembly. If it were shorter it would not stick up over the rails of my bed, which would be nice, however this is only because I don't want it in as obvious a line of sight; we are talking about an inch. The handle and the wheels are great. I have two regular coolers this exact same shape and size and prefer them over one big cooler when camping. I have hurt my back moving around the larger coolers. The rubber latches work very well and are secure; they don't require an exorbitant amount of effort to operate. I love that it has a 2” screw plug with a hose connectable plug built into that. Zero leaks, however it will drip from condensate forming on the plug so I would not leave it on a leather seat. Regarding some of the negative reviews, I am having trouble believing a significant amount of ice lasted only a few hours. I purchased this with two large bags of ice which nearly filled it. Shortly afterwards I bought a few pre-made salads and put in there—this was late Sunday afternoon. The next day I bought some more items and put them in there with four or five bottles of water. I opened it many times a day, and think I added some ice on Wednesday, could have been Tuesday afternoon, but could have got by without doing so--it was really only a top-off. I bought this three weeks prior to writing this review and it has been sitting in the back of my pickup bed that has a black liner, in the sun, with the weather often in the triple digits. I will add ice Saturday morning, use it all day at work, and then leave it for my day off on Sunday, and everything is still cold with a significant amount of ice left Monday morning. I don't know how they determine ratings for this type of cooler, but I am sure if you filled it with ice and left it in the shade it could hold ice for 5 days, and possibly more. If I ever get some time off I want to empty it, let it warm to ambient, fill it with ice and check it once a day. Then, if I still have time off, I will try the same thing but chilling it overnight first then put fresh ice in to see what difference that makes. Neither experiment may ever happen though because I could be hunting, fishing, and/or camping if I have that much time off and guess what—I will be taking this cooler.
BIG BANG for your bucks!
This is the best overall cooler we found over a 2-week search & research. Very heavy-duty exterior. Even certified by the USDA's Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee (which sounds "hoky", but is) a real response for equipment durability and actually exposes equipment to Grizzly Bears to see if the equipment can endure. This one does. This Member's Mark Cooler has more and better features than a comparable Yeti, that sells for much more. Having the built-in wheels is a big advantage for when the cooler is loaded with ice and "grub". The 2" drain hole will allow fast emptying of ice melt. The wire basket lets you keep items cooled without having to dunk them in ice or chilled water ... much more sanitary! The height is also a perfect camp stool! So durable I'm sure it will last 100 years. Maybe not... but a long, long time. We just can't say enough great things about it.
Not Bad for the $$$
So I've had this cooler for about 2 months and used it for a few gatherings of friends. It holds 2 cases of longnecks pretty easily and 20-30lbs of ice ( stand up one case on floor then add ice , lay others on ice,add ice,repeat....) well most gatherings are on Saturday evenings, so drinks are iced by noon. After all the open/closing on Saturday and Sunday there will still be ice on Wednesday( very little but ice). All this in the 98+ degree heat of south Texas. The cooler is under a covered patio, but its still hotter than Hades out there. So it holds ice well, its easy to move because it has wheels and a telescoping handle, its lockable and it has a built in bottle opener. Not Bad for the $$$......

Not a cool cooler!
Glad I didn't go full price. Not sure if we got a faulty cooler but ice melts just as fast in this cooler as it does in all coolers.
