Best Feta I've ever eaten.

This is my favorite Feta, and I like it way better than Athenos or any other brand of Feta that I have eaten. It's plenty salty enough, and it crumbles easily for use in recipes and most importantly of all, on Greek salads. Thank you, Sam's, for finally making it available for ordering through Club Pickup.

Excellent value and taste

I use this cheese daily in a green salad. It's a wonderful value, and I buy several packages whenever I buy and freeze all but one of them. My salad isn't the same without it!

The Best Feta in America

This one exceeds all other Feta Cheese you have offered in taste. The price is acceptable. I hate when you are out of this one and offer the Athenos crumble "Near" Feta, it has a bitter chemical taste, costs more and its maker has obviously never been to Greece to experience the real deal with fresh Kalamata olives, thyme and oregano, dolmades, or pepperoncini - poor sod.

wonderful taste and freshness

I am so happy to find this product again. The last i was in the store all they had were those dry crumbles. This is the best tasting feta I have ever bought. all of my friends were disappointed when I pulled out those dry crumbles instead of this scrumptious moist delightful feta cheese.

Freezes well!

I've been buying this brand for years. Now that we're empty nesters and don't go through it fast, I slice it and put it in a ziploc freezer bag for longer term storage. When I need to crumble some Feta into a recipe, I can thaw a chunk quickly.

Best feta cheese and best price

This is the best feta cheese I could find for the price. We eat it at breakfast along with tomato and cucumber and it is really delicious. The only thing to remember it is too salty, so cut the amount you want to use, put it in a bowl and pour some water on it, and let it stand a few minutes. If it is steel too salty you can do it a few times until you find it good for you. Enjoy!

Decent Quality

I think this Feta is a decent quality Feta, and it's less expensive than other stores (especially the deli).

No this is not from Greece but not bad.

To keep your cheese put it in a air tight container with whole milk spent 18 years in Greece works.

I wish the feta chunk from 2005 would be back .

Feta Cheese has been always my favorite kind of cheese. I became Sam's Club member only because they had ok priced variety of cheese, among which my favorite feta chunk. At the time the price was under $3. One day, years ago, they changed the feta they were selling. The price changed to over $4, and I am not sure whether they had switched to a different vendor then, or later - I think the package looked differently from before. Now the cheese has terrible taste – bland, less pungent, over salted and at the same time it has this unpleasant more like sweet taste, like the cheese has been put in a hot water to eliminate completely the flavor. It also changes differently while longer in the refrigerator. Before, the cheese would just dry almost as hard as a rock, but wouldn't spoil, so it still would remain edible, and could have been added shredded to dishes. Now it spoils to this grayish yellow look, not very hard with changed unpleasant taste, like there has been some extra artificial fat, or something else added. It cannot be added to anything, without spoiling the taste. I have been busy, but at some point I will take the time to look for a place with better, but at the same time not overpriced feta.
