While growing up, my mother shared hallway cleaning in the tenement where we lived. Everyone commented that they always knew when Mrs. F. did the halls because they loved the original Pinesol fragrance. Presently I have become disappointed because the price went up...the volume went down (8 ounces)...and the "New Longer Lasting Scent" is too strong & unlike the original "pine" odor has lost its distinctive fragrance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This disinfecting cleaner is amazing. I mopped my kitchen floors and they were left clean and smelling great! I also mopped my bathroom floor and because it kills 99.9 of germs I know it was clean enough for my kids. I love the fresh pine smell. It is not overpowering but leaves that fresh “I did my floor smell”! Very easy instructions on diluting it and adding it to your daily cleaning. On the back it shows that adding some to your laundry kills germs also! This was something new and I have never thought to do this, so now I add it to my laundry and know the clothes are super clean! Thank you Pinesol for such a great cleaner!

I have cleaned with Pine-sol for many years and have always loved the pine scent. However, I am afraid that the new scent is a bit much for me. Not only does it smell more like a fir tree (the Christmas variety) than a pine tree, but the new scent is most overwhelming. I have gotten a headache each time I have cleaned with the "new" Pine-sol and everyone in my family has complained about the highly "perfumey" smell. I am afraid that I will have to find something else to clean with, unless there is some way to formulate a less potent smell. Our family really misses the pine in Pine-sol.

With a little elbow work, my stove top looked like brand new. I couldn't believe it . The smell lasted for hours afterwards, leaving the aroma of fresh scent.

There is nothing like cleaning with pinesol and walking into your home and smelling that clean fresh scent. I have asthma & am highly allergic to perfumes, and chemicals in general. I bought original Pine Sol because I am not allergic to the pine scent I remember from childhood. It was a huge disappointment. The perfume smell (NOT pine oil) gave me a migraine AND an asthma attack. I had to pour the rest down the drain. This is definitely not the original Pine Sol advertised.

After decades + of using Pine-Sol original I am completely dissatisfied with the new scent if I wanted this scent I would buy the other cheaper brand I bought the other brand just to compare scents and they're is no difference. Soooooo Bummmed! Anita P Calif

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been addicted to pinesol since a little girl my mom cleaned with it because I get migraines from bleach and that's what she grew up using until I was born lol I use it every day for the smell I am addicted to it and love how clean it makes everything in my home I even use it to disinfect the kids toys and bedrooms and for all the germs they spread I have tried off brands 2 times and will never ever do that again nothing compares to the cleaning power or smell!!!! I do wish you would come out with wax for candle burners or plug ins please give it a thought it would be a huge success and make you lots of money
