I've accused my kids and husband for days for using a towel to clean urine and throwing it into the laundry hamper. Three days I've been trying to figure out what the urine stench in my laundry room was. It was a bottle of Pinesol I threw in the trash because the new smell makes me want to puke. Bad mistake. It should've gone outside in the trash!

The new longer lasting scent smells horrible! It smells like the cheap off brands,so nasty smelling it gagged me.Smells like pine car fresheners.Will never purchase it again. Bring back the original scent,don't need it longer lasting if the new scents what I've got to smell !!!!

My mother cleaned exclusively with Pine-Sol. I have always cleaned exclusively with Pine-Sol. When my children are older, I will clean their homes exclusively with Pine-Sol - just to have an excuse to smell the pine scent. That is... the scent of Original Pine-Sol, NOT the new long lasting version. I just bought a very large bottle of the new Pine-Sol, and used it to clean my kitchen. Not only does the new 'original' scent smell like a bucket of chemicals, it causes an almost immediate headache. Now, where is my old friend? The bathroom still needs to be cleaned.

Growing up my Mom used pine-sol so naturally I use pine-sol or should I say Used pine-sol. I just finished my 175 fl oz container and that's it! I never thought I would say this but "I will no longer be buying your product." I only like the original scent but the New longer lasting scent is TERRIBLE. My family thinks it just plain stinks. It is overpowering and yes it last long but who want that smell to linger. I will find another multi-purpose cleaner that disinfects & kills germs without the smell.

New pine sol literally gave me a headache from the strong nauseating scent. It smelled like that other horrible cleaner Fabuloso. I used it once and never again. I gave the practically new bottle to my mom, she hated it as well. It ended up being poured down the drain. I've used it for years and since my childhood it reminds me of my grandmother. Sad to say, I will no longer purchase the new pine sol. Extremely disappointed, what a shame. Please go back to original formula, nothing out there compares to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Pine Sol for well over 40 years just as my Mother did. The other day I went to purchase more and something has seriously changed with the smell. I have always used only the "Original" scent. It smells absolutely horrible and smells NOTHING like Pine Sol. Have they changed the formula without telling anyone?!? I took mine back to the store and then tried several other places and they all smelled horrible!!! Can someone PLEASE explain this to me. If this continues I will no longer buy Pine Sol and I hate feeling like that towards a product I have always loved using all these years.

I recently bought a bottle of Pine-Sol that said new and improved scent on the label. Maybe it's new but it's hardly improved. Frankly, it stinks. I realize I could simply be nostalgic for the familiar scent I've known all of my life, but I don't think so. I know for sure that if I had never smelled the original and got a whiff of this in a store, I would not purchase it. It's a sharp, ultra-piney scent that's more industrial than comfortable. The only other scents I remember seeing in stores is Lemon, and I'm not clear on whether it's disinfectant the way the original is, so I may well stop using Pine-Sol altogether. I certainly won't buy "improved" original again.

Pine Sol original has been my go-to cleaner for decades. Bought a bottle and brought it home. Poured some out and smell was disgusting, like cheap bathroom spray. I hate it. Looked at bottle upset with myself for buying the wrong product, but no, it now has a "longer lasting scent." That should read "disgusting new scent you will hate."

The ONLY reason I gave this product 1 star is because it won't let me give it zero or a half star!! This new scent stinks! I have always bought Pine-sol because it's a great cleaner and it leaves your house smelling fresh and clean for a long time. I always bought the biggest bottles because I use it for cleaning EVERYTHING so when my big bottle was gone a couple weeks ago I bought more like I had so many times and to my surprise it smelled different. I saw that it said "new longer lasting scent" and I've tried to give it a chance, but I just hate it. It smells like a cross between men's cologne and laundry detergent. I've poured most of the bottle down the drain just to get rid of it while cleaning my disposal, and now I will have to find something else to clean with. I used Pine-sol for absolutely everything and I will miss it. But as long as they have this awful scent I will no longer be buying it!!

I have always enjoyed the original scent of Pine-Sol but I am highly disappointed that they have changed it's original scent. Why change what has worked after all these years. If they want to keep the new lasting scent...ok...but I wish the original was still available. I always purchased the original because of all pine cleaners it was the most authentic and distinctive. It still cleans effectively, just not the scent of pine.
