I have used PineSol for 48 years as did my mother. Why have you ruined the product? Last month I purchased a bottle and immediately upon opening I knew you have changed the product and not for the better. Now it reeks of a horribly strong patchouli scent and it does not clean well at all. After cleaning the bathroom, we had to open the windows and leave the house for hours. The horrible smell lasted for days. I returned to the store and purchased another bottle of "original" and the same thing happened. I WILL NEVER USE THIS PRODUCT again! I have read many of the reviews here and can conclude that you have lost a lot of your customers.

The original Pine Sol has been my families main cleaning product for many many years.. I remember my great grandmother, grandmother, myself along withy brothers, and now our children ALL use Pine Sol to clean and disinfect our homes. If daily our. Our homes do not smell like Pine Sol it's not clean. Even our Landlords wife will come by and grin saying I love that smell of clean in Original Pine Sol. The best!

The other day I went to purchase more and something has seriously changed with the smell. I have always used only the "Original" scent. It smells absolutely horrible and smells NOTHING like Pine Sol. Have they changed the formula without telling anyone?!? I took mine back to the store and then tried several other places and they all smelled horrible!!! Can someone PLEASE explain this to me. If this continues I will no longer buy Pine Sol and I hate feeling like that towards a product I have always loved using all these years.

I was going to review about the scent not being what I remember, but I read a review that said the same thing. I bought it for the scent back home. Your response answered my question and I understand. I just pray you can bring it back, at least, for a limited time then I can stock up. Thank you for the job you are doing.

I am still in shock that they chose to change the smell of Original scent. I am now wondering if they changed whats in it? As many Pine-Sol lovers know, it is used for Way more than cleaning! It has so many uses. So sad. The New Scent is -----un-smellable---un-usable. Ewww Hope you can change it back??

The new smell is awful, Smells like a soaked litter box with scented cat litter. Please bring back the "ORIGINAL SCENT" it lasted long enough and didn't have the overtone of cat urine. This new smell is way too sweet and putrid. Smells nothing like what I know to be Pine Sol. I will have to find a new cleaner. I've used your product for 25 years. Sad day.

I love cleaning with pine-sol because of the clean pine smell. I also have always appreciated that the scent does not linger, but dissipates naturally. The new "longer-lasting scent" original pine-sol is awful and smells nothing like the original. I will not use this product, ever, and have dumped the bottle I bought. Please give us back the original formula, or at least offer us the choice of one or the other!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is the best. I've replaced many other cleaners with Pine Sol. It works great on both my linoleum & hard wood floors. Plus, as a bonus, it repels flies! I mix it 50/50 with water in a spray bottle & spray it on our deck when we want to sit outside. It keeps the flies away from us! Thank you Pine Sol!

I am 33 years old and was raised on the smell of the Original Scent of Pine Sol. My mom was raised on the same smell...it's passed on from generation to generation. I must say that I'm not at all pleased with the "new and improved" smell of Pine Sol. I think it smells like a fake pine smell and the scent doesn't last nearly as long as the "old one" By the time I finish my cleaning I no longer smell my Pine Sol any more.

This "new longer lasting scent" Pine-Sol is HORRIBLE! Why did they mess with the "original" scent??? We have always used Pine-Sol but will not use it now that the scent has changed! It now has a chemical odor instead of the fresh clean order it always has. Will no longer buy Pine-Sol
