[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this board in the summer of 2016 and have used it about a dozen times since. I'm a late twenties woman, 5'3 and can carry it by myself, but it is quite large and heavy so be aware. That's the only drawback, but that's just how paddle boards are. We like this one because it had a higher weight limit to be able to take kids and it's a little wider than the intermediate board for kids to sit but not as wide as the novice board making it bulkier. I took this to a large day camp where other paddle board were being used and everyone wanted to use mine because it was much easier for beginners and some beginners even attempted head stands successfully. There is a great go pro attachment and a plug to drain it if water gets in the board. The black plug fell off on mine so it did fill with water that was easily drained. I contacted lifetime and they sent me two new plugs quickly and took great care of my problem. I put it in the back of our truck and find some water. My toddler loves it and always wants to ride "the boat" as he calls it!

This board has both some pros and some cons. It is a bit lighter than other solid core boards this size. I could carry it a short distance alone. I'm not crazy about the hollow vs the solid core, but that might be why it's lighter. It's just more thick and bulky. It is SUPER durable. The kids were playing "battle board" and the boards took it without so much as a scratch. Even the adult board is easy for kids to handle. The only other drawback was that the pads where you stand were a bit slippery. The plastic is easy to clean and, like I said, super durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I took out the hooligan youth paddleboard and the horizon adult paddleboard. This was our first experience with paddle boards. We had so much fun on these and cannot wait to use them all summer with our family and friends! We spend a lot of time at the lake and have used many different types of water toys, I can see these quickly becoming a favorite as they can be used individually or for games together. We were able to move fairly quickly along the water and it was really nice to have the option to kneel or sit on the comfortable foam pad and leisurely paddle around. The board is great for beginners because it doesn't require too much effort and stayed really steady as we moved around getting up and down. My 7 year old was able to jump right on and go with little instruction, and we all stayed dry. The foam pads were comfortable and gave traction so we weren't slipping around. Two smaller kids can easily go on the youth paddle board and an adult and one or two kids on the adult board as long as you meet the weight ratings. We were excited to see the media mount, we will definitely be using that next time we go out! The paddles were extendable and suited me at 5'2" and my husband at 6'2". Loading onto the car was easier with two people but my husband didn't have any trouble doing it on his own either. Same with carrying the boards, definitely easier with two people because of the size of the boards but we were both able to carry them on our own using the handles. I would highly recommend these paddleboards. They are a great , low maintenance/high reward investment for anyone who enjoys being on the water! Thanks Lifetime!!

The board itself is wonderful. We've had hours of enjoyment the last year. And when I noticed that there was a part missing (the store did not have the middle handle installed), the company quickly shipped the item free of charge. We are very pleased with their service.
