This is one of the smoothest beers I have tasted.Not bitter at all...goes down so smooth and has a great taste to it.I love mexican beer anyway.And I love the bottle that it comes in.Unique!!

Much better than regular Modelo. Smoother taste and finish. Definitely something I reach for when nothing else is available. Also doesn't give you the nasty headache that regular Modelo does.

I do like drinking every now and then I don’t really have a preference of any brand of beer but I drink this one sometimes and it’s so refreshing I like the taste just to take the edge away

I love this beer! It has so much flavor without being bitter. It’s very easy to drink and it’s also nice to cook with, since it has more flavor than Modelo Especial. I use it to make beer batter for fish or shrimp tacos.

When it comes to beer, I prefer sours and tarts, but I still like most beers. This beer is amazing. I've had the classic Modelo before but this one is by far the best.

I love dark beer, and I expected to like this. However, it does not really taste like a typical dark beer. It actually reminded me of craft beer, which some people seem to like. I think Modelo should stick to golden beer, which they do very well.

Really enjoy this beer as a pair for a michilada. It is great by itself but not a taste for everyone I would recommend this product to others for shes

One of the best! This is a dark beer you can have pretty much anywhere, anytime! You can enjoy it nice and cold, or over nice in michelada form! It’s a little pricier than regular modelo but definitely worth it!

Negra modelo is the only dark beer I’ll drink because it’s smooth but not heavy like other dark beers. The bottle is iconic and it’s right on par with other imported beers. I’d highly recommend these for all occasions.

It is a strong beer. So I do not recommend if you are light weight. But you are used to drinking, very nice beer. It taste great and will kick in slowly.
