This unit replaced another LG player I used for approximately 10 years. It works very well without freezing or skipping.

The unit freezes up. It doesn't respond to the remote control and now the DVD tray won't open so I can't even watch a movie

I bought this LG Blu-Ray play to replace one that quit on me and I'm so glad I chose LG. It was so easy to setup. Has worked perfectly since I purchased it and I'm sold on LG now.

So far it's working ok. The only thing I noticed was a few times I couldn't open the disc tray with the remote or unit button. I had to unplug/plug in power to open the tray.
