I love that I can use this Ragu Old World Style traditional Sauce straight from the jar. It's a quick dinner when I'm in a rush after work or down to the end of my groceries for the week. Plus that, my 9 year old LOVED it! It doesn't get better than that moms!!

I used to love the Ragu Old World Style Traditional Sauce.It WAS great. I noticed when I bought the latest jar that it had "now made with olive oil" written on it and I though uh-oh they changed a great product. I decided I would give it a try anyway. I can't believe the olive oil is the only thing that has been changed. It had an incredibly strong taste of garlic and onion, which it did NOT have before. I hadn't eaten but a few bites when I new it was a mistake. I started feeling sick to my stomach. NOT everyone can tolerate strong amounts of garlic and onion. It was a horrible experience. I will NOT be buying a Ragu product again, which is ashame because it used to be so enjoyable. Now, I'll begin the search for another spaghetti sauce that won't make me sick to my stomach. What a HUGE disappointment. Why do companies do that- take a great product and decide they should change something about it - it ALWAYS ruins it.

I have been using Traditional Ragu says for years . Loved the taste Why did you ruin it with more olive oil? The taste turns my stomach, and ruined my meal. So disappointed. Will never buy again with the olive oil . And yes, it probably has always contained olive oil You have added enough to ruin it

As soon as I made spaghetti without realizing it changed to olive oil.. tasted it and it tasted horrible!! It definitely isn't the same and won't buy it again.. sad we got it add BJs and now have a couple bottles of it.. it needs to go back to the original or we won't buy ragu anymore!!!

We have been using the Ragu Simply sauce and gave the Ragu Old World Style Traditional Sauce a try. We are impressed with the flavor for being a jarred sauce. I made baked shells with the sauce and lots of cheese. It was a hit and I will be purchasing again.

I've cooked with Ragu Traditional since I was 15 and would not consider another sauce -- until now. Like many others have said I thought I was expired jars. But no! Apparently you all thought it was broke and decided to "fix" it. Do all us Ragu fans a favor: Admit you made a mistake and correct it by giving us back the sauce we know and love.

What a disappointment! This was a staple in our household and has always been a great tasting basic spaghetti sauce. Unfortunately you've changed it and now it's horrible. I didn't realize it had changed until I tasted it. I thought I had an expired jar! Sour, bitter, with a little bit of sweetness is how I'd describe the flavor. It left a terrible aftertaste in my mouth.

I am a 43 year old Autistic woman. Regular Ragu Old World Traditional has always been my go to sauce. I don't add anything. Just sauce and noodles. The last time I fixed myself some spaghetti, it tasted different (not in a good way) and the texture of the sauce was greasy. I looked at the jar and it said “now with olive oil”. I thought maybe it was just a new option, but no. It's a replacement and I am devastated. My old sauce has been there for me my whole life. When no other food sounds good, I could always count on Ragu Traditional sauce and some pasta. You guys took it away. Not everything needs to be new and improved! If it ain't broke, don't fix it! If you want to make this with olive oil, then be my guest, but give me my old sauce back! I did notice a slight change in the flavor and thickness several years ago (when you started touting that it had a half serving of vegetables in each cup or something), but it was easily doctored with a little extra water added and a dash of salt. Not exactly like the product I've always loved, but close enough that I did not complain. You think people won't notice when you change things, but we do. This newest version is a deal breaker for me. I'm devastated. I know that sounds dramatic, but this is very important to me. Please bring the old recipe back as an option!!

I really like the taste of Ravi and love the convenience of not having to make my own. It has a really good taste and you get a perfect amount to use for a meal. I love all the varieties and of course the price is great. I would highly recommend this for any kind of Italian cooking if you are in a hurry and need a backup because you can't make homemade. Try it, you'll like it

I have food allergies to some spices and do not like garlic, but of course the sauce had to be changed again without taking people's health into consideration. The new recipe says "no with olive oil" when the old recipe had extra virgin olive oil. It now also has a lot of garlic that I can't tolerate.For the sake of all bad reviews please change the sauce back to the other recipe.
