We have used Ragu Old World Traditional pasta sauce for at least 40 years. In meat sauce, in lasagna, in meatballs & sausage, basically in all Italian recipes. The “new” sauce is thin, sweet & has no flavor. It ruins the taste of anything cooked with it. This change was a huge mistake & will result in the loss of many customers. I see in your cookie cutter reply that you say the new sauce is “not for everyone.” I would say it's “not for anyone.”

The "new recipe" is terrible. Very tasteless. We made rigatoni for dinner and everybody asked if they noticed a difference in the sauce and thought maybe it was bad. But then we looked at the jar and read the part about it being a new recipe. Very disappointed.

Ragu traditional was the ONLY sauce I would buy. I grew up on it and LOVED it for at least 40 years. For some reason the company changed it, maybe cost cuts? Who knows. But it's now a disgrace. An abomination. Please, please, please bring back the original!!!!!!!! Have a heart, we have been loyal customers, please don't do this!!!!!!!!

I grew up with ragu in my spaghetti and loved it! I just recently purchased a new bottle not noticing they made a change. I put in with my noodles and tasted it. It was not right! The flavor was totally wrong! This is not the product I want to continue to purchase! Please go back to the original recipe. The health conscious are probably not eating spaghetti anyway, much less with a pre-made sauce!

I've been eating traditional Ragu since I was a kid (I'm 53 now). This is horrific. It has a sharp, acid flavor, more like a tomato soup then a slow cooked sauce. I've judged every sauce I've ever made or tried against the old style Ragu, I loved that flavor. This is how you kill a brand.

We've been a fan of Ragu for decades, but the new recipe is terrible. We've always enjoyed making our spaghetti with Ragu and adding ground beef to the sauce. Would turn out perfectly every time. Those days are in the past. We notice it doesn't taste nearly as good as it did before the recipe was changed. Please go back to the original recipe. This has been so disappointing. :(

I LOVE Traditional Ragu-all my students know it-I tell stories about it in class-all my friends know it-I have old labels from my childhood literally framed! Why oh why would you change something this popular? You could have released a new version but why would you do this? Change it back and say so quickly please! I literally have 15 jars in stock at a time-but I won't for long if you don't change it back!

We have been buying Ragu traditional for over 28 years. I don't know what has changed, but the last few times we've cooked with it, it is absolutely tasteless. Nothing at all what it use to be. A waste of money & made for a very disappointing dinner. Sad that we have to find a new brand after all these years.

Awful taste now since adding olive oil never buy this brand anymore
