These crates are a great value. Reasonably sturdy with lot of different uses.

I was quite surprised to see these in my store. Doesn't exactly seem to match their typical product lines, but worked for me. I am reviving my record album collection, and these were almost the right size. I bought two with the idea I would modify them if necessary. It turned out that they are 12 inches outside width, and would not accept the albums. With caution, I removed the side slats, and installed a spacer strip. You must understand this requires wood working tools that not everyone would have. The result was a perfect fit, and after painting them black they will be a very nostalgic container for my albums. I reasoned that I avoided the additional work that would have been necessary to build them from scratch. For $10 I saved a lot of time.
