Michelin is the best tire by far!!

I am 45 years old and very concerned with the safety of my vehicle. Michelin has proven to be the best tire by far and is worth the price. I have tried to go with a more reasonably priced tire but it was not worth it because of the quick wear. If you want safety especially in inclement weather conditions, quality, smooth ride, durability and even looks, you cannot go wrong with Michelin tires. Michelin tires is what it will be for me FOREVER!!!!

Get what you Pay For

Are there cheaper tires you can buy? Sure. But the smooth, quiet ride you get (especially in an SUV) with these tires, makes all the difference. My tire dealer actually tried to offer me a cheaper tire, but I've had the others - there is no comparison.

Best tires ever.

Had Michelin on Ford Expedition. Driving 56 years and use nothing but Michelin. Last set of tires had 75,000 miles and looked like they were new. Only replaced due to age. Only use Michelin. Have tried all the major brands, all take back seat to Michelin. No comparison. Never a problem, would recommend Michelin 100%. Best of the best.

LTX M/S beats them all!!!

I've driven on all brands of tires, and the Michelin LTX M/S is one of the strongest, longest lasting tires I've ever had. The first set went 70k, and I was going on a long trip so I thought it was time to replace them. I looked at the tread and it was about half worn! I went on my trip and saved the money and drove another 15k before replacing with the same thing. Cant tell you how many miles the next set got, but I put 50k on them and sold the truck. They might still be on there as far as these babys go! My Tahoe is getting due for tires and I know what is going on! MIchelin LTX M/S

Last Set

Have had 7 LTX-MS2 tires replaced in the last year. Failures ranged from blowout at freeway speeds due to tread separation, sidewall puncture, tread penetration thru the belts by virtually anything. The 6th was a sudden sidewall failure and upon changing the tire noticed that the rip was about 4 inches long but the interesting part was the sidewall only had ONE belt--not two like printed on the tire. Previously ran 2 sets of Michelin tires over 100,000 miles each with NO failures.

Very good wet and dry ...

Very good wet and dry traction. Great braking and roadholding and handling until the tread is literally gone. Good tread life, but not what I might have expected for the price and considering the vehicle is a midsize SUV that is driven mostly by my wife. The vehicle tended to wander more at low to medium speeds with these tires than with the previous (OEM) set, but that wasn't noticeable at highway speeds. They are very quiet and smooth for a light truck tire with an M/S rating and a rather agressive tread profile.

Everything I know ...

Everything I know technically about tires you couldn't fill a thimble with. So I will tell you what is important to me. The two things that are most important to me are safety and dependability which I continually get from Michelin tires. I think I echo the sentiment of most women. Thank you for this opportunity to say thank you to all of your staff. Kathy

New Tires

My first set of Michelins was on a 1969 Torino. I have used them almost exclusively ever since. There is nothing like a new set of Michelins to make your vehicle perform like new. The smooth ride, wet weather traction, and long life, keep me coming back. Plus they just look good on my truck.

Best LT tire ever

This is honestly the best LT truck tire ever. My most recent set lasted over 90K miles without losing any performance at all. They cost slightly more then the competition but last twice as long so when I finally needed to replace them I didn't even consider buying another tire.

Have been using various ...

Have been using various Michelin tires almost exclusively since the early 1970s. The few times I've purchased another brand, I regretted it very soon. In my opinion Michelin simply makes the best tires available at a reasonable price, which usually winds up being among the lowest cost per mile, even though a larger investment up front. I especially appreciate the real safety factors such as good stopping characteristics, good traction on slick roads, low propensity for hydroplaning.
