I have looked on many sites & in many stores for great beach towels at a great price & Sam's wins hands down. These 40 x 72 towels are larger than most & the quality is unbeatable. They are cotton, bound well on all sides & the beautiful colors/patterns don't fade in the sun or the wash. They don't pill up at all & have virtually no lint even with the first wash. They are thick but absorbent rather than being fluffy & repelling the water. My (very particular) mother has purchased at least 20 of these for all the grandkids & adults for our family vacations & she keeps buying them even though she has more than she will ever need- lol. My family & I live just across the street from the beach in Florida so I have 12 of them myself. I don't think I'll be looking anywhere else for beach towels unless Sam's quits selling these. I highly recommend them!!

We live in Florida and have frequent need of beach towels. These are my absolute favorite and are such a great value. We had ten of them at the beach where they are used/abused/left out/washed frequently and they hold up incredibly well and remain soft in texture with vibrant color. Sadly, we lost them all to Hurricane Michael as the storm surge overtook the bottom level where the beach towels lived. My local Sam's had two remaining but they are all sold out on-line. I will wait for them to restock hopefully soon (but will wait for the spring if we have to). I do not want to spend money on any other beach towels- these are the best and are an exceptional value for what you get.
