When I need cream cheese I buy Philadelphia Original Cream Cheese. Around holidays if it is out of stock andIam forced to buy the generic version I can definitely tell a difference.

This is still tastes just as good as the other packages ones. I do recommend the other packaged one for toast or bagels, I recommend this one for when you throw a whole block in to cook with

Personally, I hate cream cheese. I will put a tiny bit on a bagel, like tiny, but I prefer to buy the whipped stuff. If I buy bagels I buy flavored cream cheese. But again, only a tiny bit.
