This review is for the CCH YPLA-08C 8,000 BTU 3 in 1 "Ultra Compact" Portable Air Conditioner, Fan and Dehumidifier with Remote Control - White/// Just installed it and all I can say is WOW! This thing has one powerful fan, it is blowing the cool air hard and fa. I bought 2 A/C last summer this one and the https://www.walmart.com/ip/Frigidaire-FFRA1022R1-10-000-BTU-115V-Window-Mounted-Compact-Air-Conditioner-with-Remote-Control/44458307 and I ran the frigidaire all last summer no problem, now I go to plug it in today and nothing it won't turn on and the bypass breaker won't reset either. So I pulled out the CCH which was not even open because the other one cooled thing enough I thought, and let me tell you as I'm writing this I'm getting cold and it's only 8,000BTU and it's in my big living room/ open kitchen. Hopefully it will last, because I really don't want to deal with ASSURION protection plan that I bought with it because they woudln't honor the protection plan on the other A/C.

It keeps my parents house pretty cool and its not a small place. Its really powerful and not that loud.

Its weird. It cools the room but doesn't have auto shut off nor humidifier only setting. It continuously blows and switches to fan mode after it reaches the temperature. Doesn't show current temp of room. Maybe mines is broken. I may return it. Its loud and bulky.

Absolutely love that it is self evaporating, no ice packs nor water tank that I know of. Unless I am missing something, it seems pretty low maintenance with just an easy to remove filter to clean. Love the cold air it puts out. Only cons are that it's louder than I thought it would be and it does blow hot air out on the other side

This AC is so crazy loud. Even on the low setting, and I don't think the sleep setting works at all. It's cooling ability is meh, hardly cools 1 small room for 8000 btu. I would return it if it wasn't a hassle to do so. Pros though, it had a nice set up and a thermometer for the temp even when it isn't blowing

It's a bit noisy and a bit heavy for me to move easily, but it works really great. Cools super fast, even when just the fan is on.

We like this Portable A/C, it's compact, easy to assemble. We are satisfied, it cools most all our room.

This makes my room freezing cold which I like. The only reason for 1/5 stars is because the hosing broke within a week. I had to tape it to connect. Very disappointed that something $270 would fall apart so quickly.

I was staying at my 88 year-old mother's house in Tennessee and I knew I would be way too uncomfortable at night with her thermostat; it was the best investment!!!! It took more time to get it up the stairs and open the window than it did to get it fully set up.

I really like this unit. I purchased the unit to take care of the upstairs areas of the house where the central air isn't nearly as strong. There are two downsides. First, it is quite loud but I am realizing that all air conditioning units are quite noisy. We just don't usually have to the hear it because central air units are outside of the house. Second, the instructions are pretty awful so I had to go to YouTube to learn more about the installation process. The unit does come with the pieces needed to install in your window however, it doesn't explain that you may need to cut the plastic piece and purchase the foam window sealings (cheap purchase from Walmart). After I got the information from YouTube, I was easily able to install it. It is clear that the instructions included were written by someone who English is not their first language as sentence structures are awkward. Again, instructions are terrible so just go to YouTube and search for how to install a portal air conditioning unit. The air flow is strong and it does a great job of cooling off a pretty large space.
