It's strong in that it does not fall apart when using and that's a good thing. I hate it when it pull apart when using. It is thick so you don't need to use a lot at a time. Some are less then paper thin and a lot is required for each wipe. As for softness there are other brands that are softer and close to being just as strong. I would use this product again and have purchased again. At times it will come down to price when shopping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For many years, we have been using the cheapest toilet paper we can find. We have now switched to Charmin. It's softness is uncompairable. We have become toilet paper snobs all of a sudden. We will not use anything but this Charmin from now on. Before I used Charmin, I didn't think there was any difference but price. Not only is Charmin soft but it is strong. I feel I am able to use less paper because of it's quality.

I had tried plush ultra ply, had some bad experience with single ply and haven't really seen the middle. Charmin Ultra strong combines the best of both worlds in that it's strong, without breaking the bank or having to raze half of the amazon to make a roll. I was very satisfied with the durability and the level of comfort was adequate. I won't say it's the softest in the world but it is sturdy enough to be used as paper towel. Seriously, you can use it for both.

The strength holds up but it is also super soft, meaning that everyone in my family loves it. We have used other products in our household before, and often it is tempting to go for a cheaper brand, but I've felt like these rolls last just as long, if not longer, and the comfort makes the product worth it.

I normally would buy the cheapest brand possible but it just was not cutting our needs any more especially for our children. We found they were using way more toilet paper than needed simply because of how thin the sheets were. This in turn caused major clogging in our bathroom. I noticed a huge difference instantly when i switched to Charmin Ultra Strong. Each sheet is way more thick and better textured for a cleaner wipe. Unlike other brands, Charmin does not rip or tear while using. My children can now use way less sheets which I'm sure our toilet really appreciates and so far we have not had any clogging. Not only are the sheets super strong but they are also soft which is just as important. The strong and soft are so well balanced that there's no flaking or crumbling of the tissue. Charmin Ultra Strong holds up to its name and purpose. I use to believe all toilet paper is the same but after using this brand, I now know which brand to trust.

From the moment I put it on my holder I could tell this toilet paper was like nothing I have ever tried before. It was plush and extra strong. I have three boys at home and they only had to use two squares per use to get the job done. It is very soft and comfy but not flimsy. I have to admit that sometimes my boys miss the mark and leave me to clean up their mess of the seat. Charmin Ultra strong was even tough enough to use as a wipe to clean up their mess. I definitely will be buying this again!!

It is one every day product that I would always spend the extra few dollars for as I always want a soft and durable toilet paper. I currently actually use the basic Charmin on a every day basis, but have never tried the Charmin Ultra Strong. I would say the Charmin Ultra Strong is definitely tougher and still extremely soft where it counts. When using the toilet paper it doesn't tear like others, and always required a lot less. As a Charmin user already I will definitely upgrade to the Charmin Ultra Strong. It is definitely worth the value and quality that you get. When it comes to toilet paper Charmin is always my number one recommendation hands down!

It didn't rip or fall apart while using it. NO LINT! Compared to other brands I have used, Charmin Ultra Strong is far superior. My family has switched brands!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes, this is ultra strong as it's name implies, but it's at the expense of softness. I prefer a softer wipe to a strong wipe. Yes, it may take less TP, but it's rough/firm. Better for kids I'd guess as they need to learn the proper technique. Adults who know how to wipe effectively would prefer a softer touch I think.
