I feel that this toilet paper is worth the premium price because is is softer than a baby's bottom and stronger than all others. In conclusion, I would recommend this with no reservations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This year my kid's school had a relay compitition for Halloween. One of the events included rolling TP around a kid to look like a mummy. I brought the Charming, Ultra Strong for our team. We wiped out the compitition (so to speak). While the other team's premium TP kept ripping, the Charming reptile on rolling. And the new roll size meant there was a lot of paper to keep on going.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the new Charmin product arrived, I was very excited but as I opened the package, the rolls did not look soft. I was unfamiliar with this product but know that Charmin products are typically known for quality and softness. After opening the package, I liked the design of the paper rolls but when I felt the paper it was not as soft as I have grown to think of Charmin products. The product was durable and each roll was plentiful based on the roll size. Comparing the usage and length of each roll, it worked well and was absorbent. Also the design which I liked was not as soft to the touch. I prefer less texture and more smooth surface. While this product was not to my liking, I do like Charmin products and will seek them out in the future.

The roll lasts a good while as you aren't scared of only using a small bit when it's needed. There's not very much to rate toilet paper other then softness, strength, and quantity on a roll and this excels in all three of those categories. I would buy this for my family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recently able to participate in a trial/review of Charmin Ultra Strong bath tissue. I was a little skeptical at first because anything "Ultra Strong" down there could be a rough encounter. I was surprised to find that it was both durable and soft. I was able to use a very small amount of tissue to get the job done, and while it was indeed strong, it wasn't abrasive in the least. I also noticed the strength when I used it to blow my nose. I will frequently grab a bit of bath tissue when I am getting ready in the morning to blow my nose. With other tissues, I need to be sure that I layer the products several times to prevent a blowout, but there was no chance with this tissue. It held up just fine. To compare the feel of the Charmin Ultra Strong bath tissue, you will probably need to consider products such as a shop towel, because other bath tissues simply do not compare. The size of the roll is also quite sufficient. I don't know the sheet count, but I found that I used less per visit, which helped extend the life of the roll. My wife also said she liked that it didn't break down or leave "lint" behind. I haven't had a chance yet to compare the price of this tissue to other brands, but if the price is comparable, I will definitely continue to use Charmine Ultra Strong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have noticed the paper is not as wide anymore. Just does not feel like I have much in my hand. The paper is pretty thick which also scares me about stopping up the toilet. I do like the strength of the paper. I did not have any breakthroughs. Which is a good thing. Although it said double roll, the roll did not last very long. It was a good paper, just seems excessively thick and the roll did not last.

I have used this product for a long time do to the quality but I was shocked to open a new package and see that the width had been reduced to only 4" from 4 1/2" . This narrow width does not work well at all due to the narrow width. The company could have raised the price but instead chose to lower the quality of their product. I will no longer purchase this product if the company does not go back to the standard 4 1/2" width.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Strong changed my choice in bathroom tissue. I was a hard core Angel soft customer for years until I tried this product. I immediately switched. I was hooked on this top quality product! No bath tissue can beat Charmin-I don't care what they claim! It is really ultra strong so you don't have to use nearly as much toilet paper as with other brands.I'm sold.

Yet the Charmin Bears have brought "bottom wiping" out of the dark and into the light of day. So, with a slight amount of hesitation I accepted to join the BzzAgent Campaign for Charmin Ultra Strong Toilet Tissue. As soon as I received by BzzKit, I immediately changed out the current rolls of toilet paper in our house to the Charmin Ultra Strong I found in my BzzKit. I wanted to get quick opinions of Charmin Ultra Strong from all members of my family. Well, some results came in slower than others because some family members are slower than others to retreat to the throne. However, after having the new Charmin Ultra Strong in our bathrooms for two days, I have my first reportable results! 1. My opinion: I found Charmin Ultra Strong to be exactly that, Ultra Strong. I found myself using less toilet paper than with other brands, and it was certainly strong and durable. I noticed the label did not read "Ultra Soft", perhaps because Charmin Ultra Strong is like wiping with something similar to cardstock material. It's very strong and very durable, yet about the thickness of a sheet of sandpaper, yet not as rough. It certainly does the job, and there were no fingers poking through or issues like that. I keep going back to the same words over and over...it's strong and durable...don't expect soft and cushy, because it's not. It does the job. 2. My wife: Charmin Ultra Strong has no smell, no perfume, no fragrance, no nothing. It smells like toilet paper. Yes, she said she used less because it was stronger and reinforced, yet she would prefer something with a little more softness and scent. 3. My children: My children all have their own opinions on things, and I generally wouldn't lump all their opinions under one heading, yet once they know I am working on a BzzAgent Campaign, they continually give opinion after opinion after opinion, even after the campaign has ended. So, let me summarize the opinions of my children after they used Charmin Ultra Strong. It works good! It soaks up liquid (they used a different word, but you get the idea) almost like a paper towel. They said they can use less, because it is thick and works better than thin toilet paper. I think one somewhat graphic comment pretty summarizes my kids' opinions: It works so good that I didn't know if I had to wash my hands after because it didn't tear or rip or make any holes in it while wiping. Overall, Charmin Ultra Strong Toilet Paper is exactly what it professes to be, it is Ultra Strong. It's tough enough to complete the most serious cleaning job without a rip, yet don't expect soft and fragrant, because it isn't. Good cleaning job Charmin Ultra Strong!

We have used Ultra for 10 years. Lately it has not been as soft as normal. I thought it was just a bad batch, but it has continued over 6 months now. I know every company is trying to squeeze every penny of profit they can, but the consumer is getting the bad end of the deal. They may save costs in production, but they will lose in the long run because consumers will find another brand. If they are going to give us an inferior product, I might as well find the best deal for my money and quit paying the premium for a product that no longer lives up to its name and reputation.
