Its as if the toilet paper scientists in white lab coats somehow managed to cross the qualities of heavy duty paper towels with the softness of a baby kitten (not that I recommend ever wiping your nether regions with a baby kitten...they have very sharp teeth and nails!). The texture of Charmin Ultra Strong reminds me of a super absorbent paper towel, but with a comfy softness about it. If you have ever used bargain brand one-ply cheap toilet paper, and have been disappointed in its performance while sitting on your porcelain throne...then you have got to try this product. Its the polar opposite of the cheap stuff. Charmin Ultra Strong is high quality. It's substantial. It's comfortable. not scratchy. Most importantly, you an wipe as vigorously as required...you will not experienced the dreaded "finger poke through" that often accompanies other toilet paper brands. I recommend that you try Charmin Ultra Strong today. You really do not realize what you have been missing.

What does make this bathroom tissue different is in its durability. Even when moist, it is still strong and won't rip easily. I would recommend this bathroom tissue due its strength and softness

It manages to be very strong while not sacrificing comfort by being gentle, as you normally expect from the Charmin brand. Not only does it leave your bottom perfectly clean, but it also holds up really well! We have never had an "accident" with this toilet paper and I don't think we ever will! They also offer coupons for this toilet paper quite frequently!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is no doubt that the quality of the toilet paper is fantastic, as it is exceptionally soft. By comparison, Scott brand (in particular) is very abrasive and while I'm sure Scott brand is environmentally friendly, it feels as if you're using tree bark on sensitive areas. Charmin definitely excels when it comes to comfort, though. The only concern I have is that it feels stronger than other toilet paper, leaving me to ponder whether it will have a tendency to clog the pipes because it takes longer to breakdown in the water. Thus far, we haven't noticed any issues in that regard, but it is something we are monitoring to see if the strength of the toilet paper is a downfall when it comes to the pipes. However, barring any unforeseen clogging of the toilet, the product itself is wonderful. I don't know how it compares in cost to other brands but my recollection is that Charmin tends to go on sale frequently in the grocery store so that any difference in price can be easily addressed if it is purchased when on sale or using a coupon. All in all, though, I would certainly recommend the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Growing up in the dry climate of the western states, my mother always purchased Charmin toilet paper because it was super soft and wouldn't leave our rears feeling scratchy and dry. I find this is still true with the Charmin that comes in the blue packaging. It's soft and almost fuzzy. However, the Charmin in the red packaging that I was able to try out, although thick and durable, which is a must, was also a bit on the scratchy, unsoft side, which was disappointing. I am giving a rating of 3 stars for this though because it really was thick and held together for the er, um, rougher jobs. Compared with cheap toilet paper, it's a hands down winner, but compared to the Charmin in the blue packaging, it's just not quite as soft. In the future, I'll definitely continue to purchase Charmin, I'll just opt for the blue packaged tp instead.

If it doesn't make my sensitive nose raw then it gets double bonus points! It left my nose both clean and not raw. It's also great for bottoms too. The paper is durable so you don't have to use as much ether! We won't go back to aNY other ones!
