I have been a devoted Charmin user for 10+ years and have always stayed so due to product reliability and quality, however recently this product has changed its texture and now is stiff and hard. My son told me recently that he liked using the bathroom at home because the toilet paper was like using a soft cloud...well not anymore, it is more like using a gas station folded hard paper towel. I will not continute to purchase Charmin and will consider other brands when I never would of considered it before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally do not use Charmin Ultra Strong. We vary between one and two ply brands depending on the sale my wife gets. She's savy enough that she can often get the "cushy" stuff vary cheap. That being said, this stuff works well. It wasn't very scratchy or rough (it is 2 ply so I wouldn't expect it to be). It's very comfortable to use. I didn't find myself using anymore or less than I normally would however. I did like how the paper didn't dissolve when wet like some TP does. It wasn't as cushy and soft as some I have used in the past, but that as fine with me. It was still soft enough and not at all scratchy. I don't need overly soft. I would say it's very durable and holds up well when working. Another plus was that while it did the job, it didn't clog the toilets, especially when my 6 year old used too much paper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by Charmin ultra strong tp. The thickness was a very nice touch to its durability. It was hard to believe it was as soft as it was considering the thickness of it. I noticed us as a family generally used less. The price is a little more expensive then what I pay, but considering the use of less tp, it seems to even out. I am definitely making the switch from my other brand and am recommending/ encouraging everyone to give it a try so they can make the change too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a lot of toilet papers out there that make different claims I never heard of a toilet paper that was ultra strong though. I found that I did not have to use as much since a little went a long way with one wipe. It was durable and since I use it as tissue on occasion fit the bill for that as well. Great idea and I kind of like how it looks in the bathroom on display.

The original size of a sheet of toilet paper (TP) was 4.5 x 4.5 inches. The continual shrinking of the sheet size may present a health hazard due to "toilet paper malfunction". The smaller sheet size makes it more likely to contaminate your hands during the cleansing process. The original size of the TP sheets was chosen for a reason and shrinking of the sheets may well place our health in danger.

My five year old son has the problem of wiping a little too hard and causing toilet paper to shred to pieces (which just creates a huge mess for me to clean up). With Charmin Ultra Strong my cleaning problems are solved! It was strong enough to withstand the five year old, yet soft enough for everyone else to enjoy. I love not having to compromise comfort for ease of use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Charmin Ultra Strong is excellent quality toilet tissue! It is so strong you really do not need to use much at all. The only problem is convincing the kids they do not need to use so much! I have to say due to this my family went through sometimes more than one roll a day. I know we will not be buying this as much though due to this fact. We have a septic tank and though it says it is septic safe, I do not feel comfortable chancing it at the rate my kids are going through the rolls. I really can not give it a bad rating due to my kids though. The product is great! Nice and soft and does not fall apart when used.

I don't like paper that is so soft it rips when you wipe. Charmin Ultra Strong does not do this. I was very pleased and will continue to buy this. It's also septic tank safe which is a plus. Great product and great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got a nice little 4 pack of rolls. Didn't tell my wife, just changed the roll in the bathroom and figured I see when she notices. She noticed it immediately - found it too rough for her but she did like how thick it was. I liked the thickness and how I didn't have to use as much. In wiping the bathroom down too the paper was awesome, not too much used and not much lint residue which is always nice. I would love to buy some more of these rolls.
