[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I consider myself a bit of a TP aficionado - I've been using it most of my life. I honestly found Charmin to be lacking. The paper didn't have the required texturing which leads to increased usage and a less than clean feeling. The paper was thick enough and rather soft, so it had that going for itself. In the end, I wouldn't recommend this product of buy it for myself unless deeply discounted.

This product is very strong and durable. You can use less to achieve the same. I did feel that I went through the roll quicker than most other brands but you do learn to be more conservative using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes I would have to agree this is probably the strongest TP I've ever used. I definitely used A LOT less than my normal tp. However, it's not as cottony soft. It kinda reminded me of a dinner napkin. Also it's a good inch and a half shorter of a roll and there's a lot less on the roll Would I recommend it. Yes Would I buy it. Maybe It would depend on the price. If I got almost the same footage, I would buy this. The rest of my family is not as sold on it at this time. So that would factor in as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just rolled out a few squares of the Charmin Ultra Strong next to the Charmin Basic I usually use and the difference is very visible. The fibers of the paper are closer together with no little spaces. The ultra strong is a bit thicker and feels better in the hand. And when it comes time for the test, well you need less and it does the job very well. Less concern of it coming apart and if gives a level of confidence.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was finally able to discover a product that provides enough absorbancy without ripping or tearing while remaining soft at the same time. Men may have put an end to the age-old question posed by women.... "why do men use so much toilet paper?" Because the paper is strong enough not to rip or tear, less is needed to provide a sense of clean. The real benefit is that in addition to the strength of the product it maintains its softness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a great product. The thickness of the 2 ply is a better quality than other 2 ply papers. Like two thin sheets together still equal a thin 2 ply BUT Charmin has 2 thick single sheets joined together making a thicker 2 ply. That in turn allows you to use less. Another feature that I LOVE is that it doesn't leave the "dust" when you tear it like another well known brand. I and my family prefer Charmin over other brands.

I finally found toilet paper that is strong enough for any mess like promised. I didn't feel like the toilet paper was rough, I thought it was actually soft. It felt softer than other toilet paper I've used.

And she normally buys the cheap stuff for my bathroom because she thinks I use to much tp. Well with this bzzagent campaign I got to try this and the difference between the sandpaper she's been buying me and the new Charmin tp is insane. The ultra strong is just that, ultra strong. it doesn't leave pieces everywhere and doesn't rip when I am using it. and it doesn't smell like perfume or have girl designs. and I used lesss tp because it's thicker but it didnt clog the toilet. Who knew there would be such a difference in tp? I'm going to be getting this charmin ultra strong now. i can't go back to that weak girly stuff she was giving me.

My previous use of Charmin was unsatisfactory, but with Charmin Ultra Strong I was pleasantly surprised with its strength and softness. I am considering changing my brand in bathroom tissue.
