I bought a whole bunch of Charmin toilet paper and noticed this really aweful dead animal smell coming from my bathroom it was driving me crazy until I realized it was coming from the toilet paper I went back and checked on the other ones I had purchased and two more packs smelled like that. I am extremely upset that I spent all this money of something that is going to come with a disgusting smell like that.

Some comments: 1. Its better than what I currently use. The material is soft and looks to be more absorbent. 2. My kids have kind of sensitive skin so I always try to buy the one with softest of touch. This one is quite to close to the one I used previously which was albeit a more pricey one. Overall I liked the product but its yet to be seen on pricing front an may be I will go-ahead & buy if its economical on large packs

It also had a very soft feel and felt very luxurious. It is much softer and more durable than my regular bath tissue. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

No one wants to feel like they are using burlap when they are in the bathroom. AT the same time, no one wants it to fall apart because it's too soft or too thin. Charmin is great. It's thick. While I was driving home from work and telling her about my day, she commented on how great the new toilet paper was. My words? "I KNOW!" It is so much better in every way - strong and firm but soft and plush. Tough and durable but light and fluffy. What more could you ask for? How about more absorbent so that you use less each time nature calls. In the long run that'll save you trips to buy more. I have been using non-name brand to save money but it would run out fast and dissolve easly. After trying Charmin I feel and see the difference. I will be switching over to the Charmin family even though it's a bit more expensive you will save In the end because it's last longer. Charmin life for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin is definitely a quilted tissue, but I found it to be very thick. It was soft to the touch, but the thickness was a bit much. It felt more like paper than tissue. However, it is very strong so I can see where those that need/want a stronger tissue would like this, but unfortunately this is not the tissue we will continue to use in our household.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet paper is the perfect combination of softness and durability. I also like how neatly the strips tear off. I used Scott Extra Soft before this and the sheets would never tear straight across at the perforations, they would leave an ugly half sheet hanging from the roll. And since this paper is thicker than the cheap stuff you don't have to use as much, that makes it a good value. It's definitely worth the price.
