This Charmin Ultra Strong is not 2-ply (it clearly states "single ply" on the wrapper) and it's anything but soft (we've always bought Ultra Soft but decided to order this to give it a try)! We've been Charmin users for years and this is the 1st time I've ever absolutely HATED it! If I could give it a zero stars, I would. When I use it, it leaves residual bits of paper where it so obviously shouldn't AND we have to use 2-3 times as much as normal. Will NEVER buy this again!

It's strong enough that I don't have to double up, and not as linty as the other varieties I have tried. I even used it to blow my nose and it was soft, not scratchy. I would definitely recommend Charmin Ultra Strong to anyone looking for a stronger TP.

I am telling you are missing out if you don't buy Charmin. I value the comfort side over the absorbency. It is also septic safe which in a household can reduce the frequency of getting your tanks pumped out.

I have found that this TP works well and definitely gets the job done. It is not incredibly better than what I am using now but it is definitely a level or two higher. This definitely sounds weird but I am using this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I remember the old TV commercials ("Please don't squeeze the Charmin") and to be frank, I never really cared for that product. But the Charmin Ultra Strong is very different. First of all, it really is very strong. Secondly, it doesn't seem as "fluffy" as the old Charmin and that was what I really didn't like about the older product. I am happy with this new version. I am not really sure yet, if it goes further and lasts longer, but I think it does. I will need to try it longer to have an aopinion about that.

I was always under the impression that it was of poor quality and overpriced. Boy was I wrong. I loved this Charmin. It was soft yet durable and withstood everything my family put it through from bathroom breaks, to make up removal to toddlers runny noses.

I guess we have been stuck for so long buying Angel Soft we just thought it was the best, and never ventured out.Charmin is the softest and I do not have to worry about my septic tank getting backed up, so thats a plus. Whole family rates this a 10 plus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This charming ultra sample I received from the manufacturer works great. The toilet paper is very strong. That means I didn't need to use as much of the store brand I was using. This makes it more favorable to use it over the store brand.

The other members of the household also asked, where did I get it from. They noticed the difference immediately and liked the strength and comfort but they also said they used too much the first time almost clogging the toilet. That being said I taped a little sign to the wall that said "extra thick use sparingly to avoid clogging the bowl." As good as it was Im on the fence about buying it or changing to it. We went through thee rolls much faster than any other I've used previously. There is a learning curve when it comes to this paper.
