I have a brand or two that I avoid (they tend to tear under 'normal' use), and from the rest I choose based on price. However, I have been extremely pleased with the Charmin Ultra Strong. It is comfortable to use, and so far hasn't clogged up any of the toilets in my house. As a single dad with a young daughter, one of my primary concerns is that she never again clog up a toilet by using so much TP at each sitting, and Charmin Ultra Strong has passed this test with flying colors! My next criteria is comfort, and this area I can vouch for myself. Ultra Strong is easy to use, even on 'challenging' situations. I absolutely recommend it, and expect it will become a go-to option for me in the future.

Generally toilet paper either does, or doesn't do its job, and this roll definitely does its job. What is so shocking is that for as durable as this toilet paper truely is, its remarkably soft. Usually its one of the other, but this roll has it all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ive always used charmin. its the best toilet paper. its the softest, most comfortable, most absorbant, and this ultra strong wont fall apart or let your fingers break through and get dirty. its thick enough to create a germ barrier. its septic safe. i didnt have any problems flushing it. i highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fact that I have now found toilet paper that don't take a half a roll to use after going to the bathroom. With Charmin Ultra Strong, everyone in the household has the ability to use less TP after using the facility and make a single roll of TP last longer than any roll of TP we have used in the past. By using less TP, we will be able to save money, which is always a good thing. It will also help the environment by having less waste in the treatment plants. So not only are we saving money, but we are helping the environment. I also like the fact that the Charmin Ultra Strong was exactly that, Ultra Strong! Even with using less TP each time in the bathroom, there was no breaking of the TP, or no unwanted ripping at the most inconvenient times. That was really impressive.

It seems to last longer than other toilet paper, even stuff with the same size roll. I think it is the perfect combination of strength and softness. I refuse to use any toilet paper other than this. You can use less of it than regular toilet paper and get the same clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the Charmin roll is smaller than the competitor. Mr. Whipple is right, don't squeeze the Charmin. It is soft however, the competitor seems to hold up just as well. I didn't see or feel any extraordinary difference between the two. I wasn't impressed with Charmin. The price is a little higher than that of the competitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical about this product. We had tried Charmin before and my wife refused to use it again due to lint. Well fear no more! Charmin Ultra Strong seems lint free; moreover, it is strong enough that I've used it in place of a paper towel to clean up a spill. It still feels soft, however, with all that strength, and doesn't irritate the skin. We're sold on the new Charmin. It does what it needs to do and more, giving you the strength you need and the softness you crave. I'll certainly be buying this next time I'm at the store.

One thing I noticed is when the kids pull it off the roll its not left spinning because it's so light and ends up in a pile on the floor. I have noticed it's not linty which is awesome!! The kids like it because even they know it's "tough" as they say.

It is strong and doesn't break away in the middle of the job but it wasn't really rough. however my wife didn't enjoy the brand at all because she felt it was much to rough. So all in all i believe that this particular roll is more geared to toward male users. all in all for me it was a great product will definitely use again.
