Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i wouldn't have bought this for myself, but i'm enjoying it. they say it's scarlet, but it's closer to a rust color, the picture is accurate. not the most comfortable watch in the world because it's so long and before it bends. i'm curious how long the band will last, but there are replacements available after market. i had some trouble with it turning itself off when i was hiking, don't know if my sleeve was touching the face wrong or what. i'll definitely have to work on that! i quit wearing it to bed even though it's got a sleep monitor, because every time i would adjust my covers it would light up!

Very Well Made

overall, i'm pleased with this band. i do miss that this band cannot be turned off to save power when i'm not using it, or that it lacks the ability to count the flight of stairs i climb daily. i really don't like elevators/escalators, so i use stairsteps instead. this band is clear and the improved clasp makes it a good upgrade from the original galaxy fit.

Love the display

bought 2 of these watches in october. one for a family member, one for myself. worked great until the last update. i have an amazfit bip & when i compare them, fit2 now only counts half of my steps. i counted out my steps & it will sometimes count them, other times it just doesn't register. pretty disappointed.

Galaxy Fit2

Im very disappointed in the Samsung Galaxy Fit2. I received it as a gift. I really just wanted a step counter, which I've tried everything and it doesn't work. It will sporadicaly count a few steps here and there. Most of the other things seem to work.

faulty buckle design

i had the watch for two days. i had trouble with the buckle slipping out from the hole i had set so i would have to reset it and now it has slipped off and is lost. i tried the "find my band" feature but it did not help. it'd too bad because i otherwise was enjoying the product.

Nice, but missing basic functionality

Overall, i like it, but it seems to be lacking basic functions in its capacity as a step counter. For example, It can't display total steps on the device (phone+fit2) . Samsung support seems to think it should support this, I've spoken with them twice. We've tried ensuring sync is on, installing updates, restarting the Fit2, factory reset, restarting the phone, and everything else. I can only hope that the fit2 gets patched in a future update, as earlier samsung devices which had the same problem were fixed. Otherwise, I love the size and battery life. It's much more comfortable than my previous Samsung devices to sleep in, I don't miss the call functionality of my watch at all, and I can't wait until some custom bands are released so that I can personalize it a bit.
