I have a picture comparing the thickness of each and you can see that the up&up is almost a double layer compared to the Scott. Works in a pinch , just not my favorite.

I will continue to buy these. Scott has really stepped up their game. We use their toilet paper too. In the past, I always thought of Scott as the company with the thin toilet paper, but the last few years they have come out with awesome products and these paper towels are a perfect example. If you have kiddos, these are a MUST! They make for a quick and easy cleanup. Super awesome product!

They absorb so much and even than, they don't tear on me like other cheap and/or brands do. Also enough paper towels in one roll that it's lasted nearly a week compared to other brands lasting maybe 2-3 days cause they barely absorb. Love Scott paper towels!

They are sturdy enough to clean up after the fur baby who is inspecting the packaging. I like the option of using smaller pieces for small messes and the texture makes it easy to clean up water (or other spills) with ease.

The roll is actually thick and full unlike other brands that state they are double rolls but seem to be gone within minutes. The sheets themselves are durable both when cleaning up messes and when wetting them for other jobs , they don't rip right away when wetting like other brands. I would say this items strength is definitely that is is a fair price for good quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been buying Scott Paper towels for a few decades now. It has always been a tried and trusted brand. When I saw they now sold Fast Absorbing towels I couldn't wait to try them. I was not disappointed! It only takes a couple of squares to wipe up spills, such as water that my cats splash out of their water dish, or food that lands on the counter when preparing meals. The liquid is soaked up super fast and the paper towel remains together: it doesn't start ripping and falling apart like so many other brands do. And the great thing is, so far I have used less squares of the towels to clean up messes so the roll last so much longer for me! Oh, and the price is amazingly affordable!
