The scotts single ply select a sheet was one of my favorite economical paper towels for over a decade. they used to be 7" long and thick enough to dry my hands and then wipe up some dirt or lay out to dry and use again later. unfortunately some fool at scotts approved a change about 6 months ago so they are now 6.5" long and the roll is much smaller in diameter and weight and worst of all the sheets becomes useless as soon as the paper touches water. I called customer service number on the package and they said the product was improved last year to increase durability. When I tried to escalate the issue they said I would have to call headquarters. Instead I am writing this review and looking for a new favorite paper towel.

When wet it holds its texture which makes it good for scrubbing you could even use it for washing dishes. It holds up well

The 6 packs are like having 12 packs of paper towels. It's going to take me a while to get through all 6 packs. And since it's paper. It can easily be recycled or decomposed. The paper towels are strong. They don't rip easily. If I have a wet or sticky mess, these paper towels always get the job done.
