Great lens! I've gotten closeup shots of bees on flowers from feet away that were almost as good as a macro. Good enough range for sports, or wildlife too

This is really nice lens. It is easy to mount on the camera, and to focus quickly and accurately.

If your ever a photographer or a plane spotter, i suggest u buy, ive used it so many times and honestly my best choice.

I bought this lens as a present for my boyfriend. We travel a good bit and he always wishes he had a telephoto lens for shots he wants to take. This one was affordable and well made. He will be able to use it on our trips to make more memorable photos for us.

Decent budget lens

I was so excited to get this lens! I love Canon and as usual I have no bad things to say about it. It fits perfectly, of course. It is Canon quality and you can't beat that.

Love the camera, love the lens!! Never realized how close a lens of this type could get, just be sure that you aim correctly or you may get some of the foreground extremely close up instead of what you really wanted to take a photo of.

This is a very good telephoto lens but the autofocus is not always perfectly sharp (manual focus works fine). This lens does not have stabilization. I paid $220 with tax and shipping but feel this is over priced when compared to other comparable lenses.
