Love the fact that it has a drain plug in the front on top for draining any extra water out. two rod holders behind seat and one in front. The one in front is perfect. best bang for the buck. light, roomy, durable.

I like mine so much I bought 3.Would have bought 4 if my youngest was bigger. Price is great.I got mine in february and have used them 10 times or more.I will buy another

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lifetime decided not to continue selling spray skirts for this kayak, and only lists Length and Width. Obviously, the circumference was missing. Customer service transferred me to one of their kayak specialist, Caleb, who was nothing short of "GREAT". His database did not have the info, so we went into the warehouse to find this exact Kayak, but to no avail. So I asked how can we think outside the box to achieve our goal, and he suggested talking to one of the engineers while I waited on the phone. Within two minutes, he came back with the answer, 109.5". He told me the engineer checked via a design program, and bingo! My only complaint is that this info was not listed within their specifications, and hopefully will be confirmed and listed within the day. I would have given it four stars, but Caleb went beyond the call of duty, hence the five stars. Once I find a spray skirt that will fit a 109.5" opening, I will buy it immediately! ...and I'm not one to write reviews, but when someone shines so bright, I just had to let their customers and company know. Cheers!

It doesn't track well at all, you stop paddling and you go 180* immediately. I took this out multiple times this summer, thinking I was doing something wrong, drove myself nuts tweaking body position, and paddling technique. Nothing helped. Eventually sat on the storage hatch with my feet on the cushion and sure enough the tracking issues improved to a manageable level. Is there a design/weight distribution issue, I personally think so. Called the customer support line to get there thoughts, since it was purchased at a retailer other than lifetime the kayak could not be tracked and there was nothing they could do, even though it is there product.

Easy to carry, comfortable, plenty of room inside to store fishing gear. Love the color. Very easy to clean, it has a drain plug so you can let the water out of it after you clean it.

This is a nice Kayak and great for the price. If you happen to tip it over you can't get back in as it will fill up with water, you have to swim it back to shore to empty all the water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought two sit-on-top Lotus kayaks last summer, and my husband really wanted a sit-in kayak. So this year we bought the Payette to add to our fleet. Of course, my only request to him was that it was a LIFETIME kayak. LOVE their products! This is the perfect size, paddles great on lakes and ponds, very smooth ride and easy steering. He is 6'2" and has plenty of leg room. We decided on a fishing model in case our young boys want that option some day. Back rest is well made and higher than most other brands; more comfortable! The slim (not so deep) design makes it more realistic for transport, and the weight is moderately easy to carry. My only wish is that it would have come with a paddle like our other Lifetime kayaks did. All in all, we are so happy (and proud) of our Lifetime products! :)
