To get the best results, we suggest washing your face and neck with warm water and mild soap to help remove natural oils and sweat. This also makes hair softer and easier to cut. The best time to shave is right after a hot shower. Be sure to apply plenty of shaving gel, foam or cream to soften the beard hair and reduce friction. Shave in the direction of hair growth for a more comfortable shave, or against the direction of growth for an even smoother shave. Do not shave in both directions.
