they look like rope lights, but function well

I purchased 6 of these December of 2019. Within 1 year one of them started to blink. Eventually it went to a state where the voltage was there but ( my guess ) the current was limited to a point where there was very little light coming from the LEDs. Over the next year it would come on occasionally but not for long. Eventually 3 more of the lights started blinking and then went into the shutdown mode. They too will come on every now and then. If I am lucky I may have 3 on at one time. Usually it is 1 maybe 2. This is very disappointing. 2 of the 6 have not had this problem which is the only reason they received a fair rating. Most the time the light will flash on full then go into shut down mode. Sometimes they will come on again over time. Kind of like having blinking Christmas lights. When they are on the light output is great. My impression is they have a power supply problem. It is interesting that while the overall rating is good the lions share of the bad reviews are the most recent.
