It is not as sticky as other brands but that makes it much easier to roll (less resistance) and the used sheets tear off easily. It picks up lint on the first swipe but pet hairs that are stuck in the fabric may take a few swipes. I prefer this to a stickier roller because gentle pressure is all it needs to get the majority of the lint.

Do not be fooled by the 4.5 overall rating on this product, the reviews included that are positive are mostly for the older version of this roller, the ones with a black handle and where the sheet material was more paper-like. These newer gray handle ones are terrible. The new sheets are more of a transparent plastic. They don’t pick up as much lint, and a lot of times the sheets come undone as you’re rolling, causing a mess. Very disappointed. I will be looking elsewhere for my lint rolling needs until 3M brings the original back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who hasn't seen a "lint" roller? Most of us have, have one, or have used one, but can yours do this? My experience with other products, especially off-brand, is that they pick up little, the refills slip off the handle, and the sheets tear when trying to remove the used ones. Not with this product! The refill is well-secured, the handle is easy to grip, and the sheets are strong. The thing that matters most, however, is the thing this lint roller has extreme gripping ability. It will pick up and hold! Pet hair, food crumbs, dust, and (of course) the obsequious lint that appears magically just before you walk in for that big job interview, all are easy prey for this product. Giraffes, on the other hand, are a bit more challenging!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lint roller is very effective on hair, dust, etc. I have cats and their hair can be difficult to remove. I have used link rollers over the years. However, they have several problems. They are often not very sticky, so are not good at removing hair. Or they are good at first but dry out quickly. I have not had either problem with the Scotch-Brite Lint Roller.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Scotch Brite Everyday Clean Lint Roller from 3M to try for an honest review. I just moved and had to start using the washer and dryer at our apartment building so this came in at a perfect time. Most of my black clothing is picking up a lot of lint from the dryer on the inside of the pants especially so I figured lets try this out. This roller has 70 Easy to tear sheets. The roll is 4.0in. X 35.2ft. You can easily put back on the outside label after use so the roll won't stick everywhere and that is a huge bonus for me. I do dry my pants inside out and the lint gets stuck along the seams of my pants. I laid my pants on my leg and took off one sheet. That sheet worked great and took the lint off easily on the main seam. The only difficulty I had was when I took a second sheet and tried to get the lint from where the seam meets. No matter what I did the lint would not come off of that part of the seam. The sheet was very sticky and not used yet so it wasn't a case of the piece being dried out or used up so I am not sure why it would not remove that part of the lint. I then tried it on my black shirt because that was also covered in lint and I had no issues at all getting every last speck of lint off. I used a total of 4 sheets for 2 items of clothing which is much less then I have used in the past so this would be money saving for me. Another plus is that it is refillable so make sure to keep the handle. The way the handle is shaped is very comfortable if you want to hold it and roll instead of taking off the sheet the way I do for certain pieces of clothing I have. I Loved having that option because it does work either way. The sheets tear easily so you don't have to worry about leaving jagged edges before putting it away. I would recommend this product to friends and family who have lint issues. I had no problems with my materials but always try it on a section that isn't visible first because it is extra sticky and I didn't try it on any materials like a wool to see if it would pull or not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the best way to judge a lint roller is to use it on a black garment. I have a lot of black in my wardrobe so this was perfect for me to try and WOW it really picks up. I especially loved that it even got down to the tiny white "things" that seem to linger after the dryer sheets have given up. The black light in some of the clubs I have been in really shows any speck of whit you may have on a black garment in particular and it is very embarrassing until now. This roller really takes it off, and I mean the stuff you don't see in regular light so I can recommend this roller knowing it does a great job in any ones light. Great product!

I’ve purchased only Scotch Brite brand lint rollers for decades. However, the new lint roller tape that’s clear is total junk. When rolling on my clothes to remove pet hair and lint, several sheets unroll causing me to throw away unused sheets. They stick together.
