has alot of power and works well with the small battery i have.. has forward and reverse speeds. challenging to use release t tilt at times. u need t tie it to the boat because the screw down bracket can slip off . mine took off and i was lucky t catch it in midair before it would have been in davy jones locker. great product.

I use this on my johny bass 100, it pushes it at a good 4mph. It seems sturdy and durable, and the built in tiller extension handle is a life saver makes it easier to reach around to steer. My one gripe isnt the minn kota, its my 35ah deep cycle battery is not large enough to power it more than 4 minutes at full speed before it starts dying. other than that I love it

We live on a lake where no motorized boats are allowed. This fits the bill perfectly and was a good price, too.
