When my son was younger (up until 1 or 1 and half) I purchased Luvs and they worked just as well as any other brand and were much cheaper on the price. However, about 1 and half or 2 years old (when he started getting really active running and playing) they started leaking on a regular basis. He would go to bathroom (number 1)in the diaper for the first time and it would leak around the legs. I had never had the problem in the past. I quit using Luvs once they started leaking. I would only recommend for younger kids, since that is all I had luck with.

My husband and I have four children (ages 3, 2, 1, and newborn). We started using LUVS with our first baby when I realized they are cheaper than name brand diapers and actually better in most cases at preventing leaks (especially over night). I would recommend these diapers to anyone. I heart LUVS!

I am the parent of 3 and now they are all grown, 25 years ago I used LUVS and today I have a grandson and I still am using LUVS! Handsdown they are THE BEST DIAPERS, out there. I have tried experimenting with other diapers and they do not cut it when it comes to leakage and breakage and holding up to baby's movements and PRICE! Thank you for being the BEST way back when and for being the BEST NOW! There is no other diaper that I would recommend except for LUVS! Thank you.

Luvs are great once my child is in a 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5... but the in between sizes, i must go with a different brand or else the diaper is either too big or too small and with 3 kids... you like to "use" up all the diapers before going on to the next size.

i have a 1 year old boy and have used Luvs since he was 4-months old. Love them, but i have purchased a box, with the 2 packs, and I am halfway through the first bag, and with EVERY change, the gel is falling out. Even when he only pees once, it falls out the side. I am aggrivated about the situation; i buy these diapers because i dont have alot of money. I cant just go out and buy more.... what is wrong????

I believe I was one of the first moms to use Luv's diapers way back in March of 1979 when my son was born. I tried another brand name diaper once and it was the only time my son had "diaper rash". I would buy Luvs by the case at a local co-op in Greenbelt, MD. Luvs diapers are what I will have in my home for my soon to be here grand-daughter. I would recommend Luvs to any new mom and/or grandmom. Thanks for being there for me so many years ago and keeping a great product around for 31 years.

When I had my daughter, who has sensitive skin, many years ago, I didn't start out using LUVS. But when I couldn't get rid of a bad diaper rash that she had, I decided to try LUVS. Her rash turned out to be an allergic reaction to other diaper brands, and it went away with in 3 days!! Once my son was born I didn't even mess around, I went straight for the LUVS at my local store. And I am using them again now that my second daughter has arrived. The fact that they are cheaper than the other brands is a bonus!!

All my friends were raving about how Luvs was the best... and then I tried them and I liked them too. The 1st box was great... Now on to box 2, and 3 to go up a size...my friends are experiencing major leakage and the diapers coming apart. I have also been dealing with my daughter waking up in the middle of the night, due to the diaper failing...i have to give her a bath, change her bedding, vacuum up the diaper parts... it so gross and disappointing... I have looked through the reviews and see I am not the only one dealing with this issue. It said go up a size a night... did that, didn't help, only made it worse. It seems to me if there are several people having the same issue that Luvs would address the issue and try to figure out what is happening. Instead they are saying , oh your child needs to go up a size at night, oh you must be doing something wrong, we have never had this problem before.... like I said I read the reviews... there seems to be a lot of the same issue going on. Come on Luvs, fix this issue please!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a nearly 3 year old and luvs just wasn't a diaper I tried. No reason not to, it just didn't happen until now. They are super absorbent, I haven't had any issues with leaks which I've actually started to have with my normal brand. My daughter hasn't had any bad reactions to the diapers either. My only complaint is that they get kinda saggy which when you have a super mobile toddler can be a bit of a problem. She's grabbed her diaper when she needs a change just because of how saggy it is. It isn't so saggy that I wouldn't use them though, especially before a child starts walking.

We had recently had bought store brand diapers, to see if they really stood up to their name....nope had to go back the next day to buy a box of luvs. The store brand leaked, not just a couple of diapers but almost the whole box. I also like luvs cause you can get more diapers in a box than other name brands for less, and you know diapers aren't cheap!
